You want sony to sound good? Use the HDMI or network stream instead, leave at least 1m between the wall and speaker, use the sony app's equaliser. I own three of them in my holiday house.

In terms of sound, Sony is higher, but JBL Partyboz's sound and deep bass are so good that people want to hear them when they hear them. I personally heard all the JBLs, but when I stood in front of the PB Ultimate, I could feel the bass in my body, my kidneys were shaking, I want the sound and bass by buying PB Ultimate and x2 PB 710. Yeah, don't understand this guy. He did a comparison, but the way he did all to show the superiority on the Partybox's side than the SONY's Muteki (V-90DW). Please do a fair and even comparison for both SONY and JBL. Use the same song, same volume power, same equalizer and same bass level. Don't be biased and taking side on either one. Thank you

You are making a mistake. Playing JBL speakers at full volume will activate DSP and it makes the bass weaker. And you didn't use the JBL One app EQ, I think.

When you listen to it in a large room, you do not fully understand where the sound is coming from.
