Hey, so what was that signal wire for? Does it have anything to do with the range? I unfortunately while unplugging it..removed the socket unit with that wire. What next?

It just so happens that I forgot to plug that little signal wire in when I was resembling my Pulse 3. I turned the speaker on not knowing about not pluging it in and my speaker worked all fine without it. However I realised later that evening that I didn't plug it in then when I plugged it in nothing changed for me at all. I'll see if I can find a replacement wire and put a link below.

What is the possible problem if my jbl pulse 3 keeps on disconnecting to my devices? Its firmware is updated and i tried resetting all the time but the problem still happens.

It's most likely a hardware bluetooth problem. I suggest if possible to get a replacement if in Warranty or covered by insurance. If not then you can get a replacement cheap enough from CeX for around £75/100 with a 2yrs Warranty included. It takes a lot of pressure, hold the pulse 3 on the floor, lean on the top of the speaker with the palm of your hand and a apply as much pressure as needed until you hear a sharp click noise. This is how I opened it for my first time. Let me know you if get the top off, try turning it both ways as well. 👌

You have to take the speaker 🔊 grill off, 6 or so Phillips screws will be facing 90* ⬆️

Take it all apart and reconnect all cables and wires. Make sure they are all in the correct slots as I found out when my power button would not turn on. This is because if you put the wrong cable in the wrong slot the pulse 3 will not turn on from my experience.👌 Hope this helps✅

How did you take the top cover off so easily? It won’t come off for me.

The under side of the cover has some Adhesive holding it in place. If you are removing the top cover for the first time it will be very stiff as it was for me the first time to. Leaning on the top with your palm with a little force and twisting should work. Hope this helps ✅ thanks for commenting.

How to repair jbl pulse 3 charging port ???

Unfortunately I’ve tried to find a replacement port on eBay, Amazon and even Facebook but no luck. The only way I think is to buy a broken pulse 3 and use that port. When replacing the port you need to take all the speakers out I believe to have access to the port.

That single wire is an antenna for Bluetooth signal
