JBL Pulse 3 Bluetooth Speaker Review - LED Light Show!

We had a 1st gen Echo in our master bathroom for listening to music in the morning kzbin.infoUgkxABghAEkaIDGZfHRBH3D3rBrlraNmnC71 and while in the shower. I didn't realize how tinny and awful the sound output on the original Echo was until we replaced it with the Studio. It was a sonic upgrade far beyond what I was expecting. Just wow. I love it because it's like having speakers IN the shower. My friend likes it because the music is so loud that she can no longer hear me singing. So that's a win-win.

Paul, if you experience clipping on your Pulse 3, I suggest you contact JBL. In the sample audio footage in this video, the Pulse 3 is about 50-60% volume. However, I do not experience clipping when I put my Pulse 3 full blast. Hope this helps.

I use it at picnics when I travel in my RV. Small size but loud. Until I met the dindinmodern speaker. I really like it and deserves my recommendation.

Nice light effects. I dare say it would retail here in NZ somewhere in the region of $300-350. Electronics is always MUCH more expensive here than U.S. for that price I could get me quite a reasonable sound system/home stereo. 😉🤔

Not really. It's not a really good source of light. :o It'll definitely be noticeable, but not enough to fill an entire dark room.

It’s pretty durable. I’ve dropped it a couple times and it never broke. If you drop it the wrong way (like hitting straight on the glass), I think it will break.

i don't think mine is charging and it's been plugged in almost 18 hrs. mine didn't turn green while plugged in to charge it.. did it do that the first time you tried to charge it?

It turns green only when the speaker is on. When the speaker is off and you start charging it, you should see the indicator lights on the back start to flash. If all of them are lit up and solid, that means that it's fully charged. Try to check and let me know what happens. Hope this helps!

Are you using the correct app? I believe there are a couple of apps on the app store. Make sure you have connected the Pulse 3 to your phone and launch the JBL Music app! Hope this helps. :)
