Got a pair and changed the lens to those transition type lens so I can use them indoors and outdoors, tried it at the gym, works great

As someone who had the Bose Frames when they came out I think the JBLs are a marked improvement in build quality and battery life, though I think the sound quality is about the same. I think the use case for the speakers is pretty niche, but I just so happen to fit that niche.

Oh, very nice. Not sure we ever got those in NZ. Genuinely curious, what is that niche you have? I couldn't think of one where I'd use these over my earbuds. But that's me I guess.

@@TheTechShed1 JB Hi-Fi sold the Bose ones back in the before times. I find glasses like these really handy for having background music on but also maintaining spatial awareness, like driving a car that doesn’t have Bluetooth, for instance.

I do traffic control and we’re not allowed to have headphones or earplugs on while we’re working. These will be bloody great to help pass the time.
