JBL XTREME 4 Battery Mode Vs AC Mode Sound Test! Is it LOUDER?

A JBL Xtreme 4 battery mode vs AC mode sound test, to see if the JBL Xtreme 4 really is louder when plugged in to the mains power supply compared with just running from the battery. The Xtreme 4 is said to be 100 watts total output power when plugged in to the mains, but only 70 watts total output power when not plugged in and running from the battery only. In this sound test we'll find out if that's true or not.
JBL Xtreme 4 Battery Specifications;
Battery type: Li-ion polymer 68Wh (equivalent to 7.2 V/9444 mAh)
Battery charge time: 3.5 hours (20V/3A input)
Music play time: up to 24 hours (dependent on volume level and audio content)
Being able to replace the battery on your JBL speakers will hopefully add years of life to your speaker. There's no price or availability for replacement batteries for the JBL Xtreme 4 just yet, so we'll just have to wait and see!
If you're looking for a decent quality, great sounding Bluetooth speaker with plenty of bass, then the JBL Xtreme 4 is a great choice, despite the relatively high price tag. Not only does it have the high spec of other JBL portable Bluetooth speakers, including that IP67 waterproof and dust proof capability, but its the first portable Bluetooth speaker to have a removable, replaceable battery, brilliant!

You have to measure loudness at a constant distance of 1 meter. You don't hold the meter in front of the speaker and expect a reliable measurement.
