Jumeirah Beach Residence, or JBR as it is fondly called, is one of the most sought-after areas in Dubai. It is home to a few landmark locations including The Walk and The Beach.
Conveniently located in the most coveted seafront district of Dubai Marina, JBR Dubai is a vertical community with over 40 residential and hotel towers combined.
The Walk at Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR) is a popular promenade where you can shop, dine and stroll by the sea. The buzzing beachside boulevard offers the opportunity to satisfy your retail cravings with an array of fashion, home and handicraft shops and boutiques.
JBR Walk is a bustling waterfront promenade, known for its unique amalgamation of leisure activities.
The restaurants and retail stores in JBR Walk make it a prominent shopping and dining destination for locals and tourists alike.
The Walk, Dubai is home to some of the most interesting restaurants, cafés and bars in Dubai. This family destination brings you a taste of both local and international culinary spectrums.
From Starbucks to Dickey’s Barbecue Pit - you’ll find something to fancy your taste palate. Most restaurants on JBR Walk open as early as 08:00 am in the morning and remain so late into the night.
HOW TO REACH JBR WALK:
The JBR Walk location is easily accessible for anyone living in Dubai Marina rental apartments. Even if you’re living somewhere else in Dubai, it is easy to reach JBR Walk using any mode of private or public transport you prefer.
If you wish to travel via Dubai Metro to reach JBR Walk, take the Red Line. The JLT Metro Station and the DAMAC Metro station are the nearest metro stations to The Walk JBR - you can get down at either one. Take a cab or walk all the way from there to JBR Walk.
Another way to travel from the metro stations to The Walk, Dubai is to take the tram. Both metro stations mentioned above are connected to the Dubai Tram. You can simply alight at the JBR 2 or JBR1 Tram Stations for easy access.
The Beach JBR probably the most famous beach in Dubai. Often the first port of call for beach volley players and sunbathers, The Beach JBR offers white sand and turquoise blue waters.
But there is more to love about The Beach JBR than the sand and swimming. Head to “The Walk”, the leisurely promenade along the waterfront. Here international restaurants, fashion boutiques and luxury hotels (Sofitel, Sheraton, Hilton, Ritz Carlton…) have made The Beach JBR one of the city’s most popular spot.
In the side streets you will find plenty of cafés with terrace, refreshing juice bars, gelato kiosks, surf shops, the Market at the Beach (daily from 10 am to 12am) and even a Roxy Cinemas.
If arts is what you are after, then JBR Beach is the place to go. You will find every sort of summer bags and crafted beach towels.
