Fantastic work dude! I just found your channel, and saw you are building something very similar to what I am building in fact we used the same base frame! I had a dead kawasaki KFX and the plan right now is to basically morph it into that frame

Awesome job on the build. Can’t wait to get a closer look at it in the next video. Again great job.

I have a Murray Killowatt which is independent single arm front suspension from the factory and was planning on going with dual upper and lowers front and rear, you my friend have just persuaded me to go an easier route, do a single arm rear set up like yours. That would be a lot cheaper a lot less time consuming for a result that's just as good, proof came after watching this video. Very nice build, if I could make one suggestion, start producing more content! You've got the fabricating skills and personality to have a very successful channel IMO! P. S. I have the same rack and pinion and the plan was to have a piece of 1" flat bar with to 90° bends on each end the same width as the rack. Then bolt it on using the 2 threaded holes for the rod ends. Then drilling 2 holes the same distance apart as the a-arm mounting points for the inner tie rods to bolt to. Do you think this would work?

Thanks bud. As far as the steering gear your plan should work but you will need to support the bar to keep it from twisting the steering gear I went over this in the video before this one. Any questions let me know.

Badass if The Manco Dingo Off-road Buggy had Suspension they would have been more like a Honda Odyssey Both are awesome buggys I got my first Manco Dingo brand new off the showroom floor at M&M Motor Mall ATV Dealer in Kalamazoo Michigan in 1993

Dude I’ve been waiting so long for this, your design inspired me to do the same suspension on my gokart

Same here! But mines will be a little bit more heavy-duty and different lol

That thing is sick! I have something very similar in mind for a one seater, but the only engine I have is a 1200 Harley V twin. Mine won't be as clean as yours though.

His design for an independent rear suspension for a chain drive is the same idea I was thinking of. how come go kart manufacturers don't do this? I bet their sales would increase.

Nice video! Love the intro and the drone stuff. Looks like it rides smoothly! Does the sprocket dig into the ground? Didn't see if you added a skid plate under it... Cheers!
@JBRACINGinc3 жыл бұрын
Thanks bud, I still need a skid plate but it’s somewhat protected

@@JBRACINGinc Cool! How fast does this thing go? I was going to attempt to build independent suspension on my Changli China car build but decided it was going to be more work than I wanted to do. Yours doesn't look too complicated though. Might do a go Kart for the 420cc predator engine, CVT, and reverse gearbox I got laying around.
@JBRACINGinc3 жыл бұрын
The fastest I had it going was 45mph and it had more in it so I would say around 50. The suspension is really simple I’d would say probably the cheapest and easiest way to do it and it rides great! I was going to make another video on it but I rolled it while making the last one and after I fixed it my buddy had a head on crash into a utv so I haven’t been having good luck with it but I’ll get it fixed up hopefully this week and get some new vids on it.

Always wondered what this would look like as I have a dingo myself. Also just wondering...ever think about putting the cage back on??
@JBRACINGinc3 жыл бұрын
This is an older dingo they don’t have a full roll cage. I did roll it when we were making this video and everything held up good

Are there blueprints that you have that you would be willing got give/ sell to me? Love this build what pipe bender do you use?
@JBRACINGinc3 жыл бұрын
Sorry I don’t have any blue prints or plans for this I just did everything off the top of my head. I’ll get some rough measurements and go over it on the next video. The pipe bender is from harbor freight I have a video you can check out showing how I used it.

Any idea how much that cost to build? Looking at putting some independent suspension on a dingo.
@JBRACINGinc Жыл бұрын
I would say around 1000 to 1200 in all the parts and material. I find it easier to not keep track of that kind of info...

Nice! The rear is independent single lower arm as well?
@JBRACINGinc3 жыл бұрын
Yes it is, you can check out my previous video for a better look at it.
@M.TTT.3 жыл бұрын
@@JBRACINGinc ah nice, I may have watched those a while ago and forgotten lol. I may do something like this or just a swingarm, not sure yet. Also might make a LSD differential from miata parts, the steering on my kart at the moment is very bad with the stock small tires, did larger ones seem to help with the (under)steering?
@M.TTT.3 жыл бұрын
on your wider grass trails, the live/solid rear axle may be less of a nuisance than on tighter woods trails though it seems, I suppose I will have to either just try it with larger fronts 18 or 20" maybe, and see how it goes, build a diff later for 2 or 300 maybe.
