TRINCITY to SANGRE GRANDE to MANZANILLA Trinidad and Tobago Caribbean Driving Part 29 JBManCave.com

Driving in the island of Trinidad in the Caribbean. In this video we go East of Trinidad and start out in the area known as Trincity. We will be traveling on the Churchill Roosevelt Highway towards Wallerfield, Guaico, Sangre Grande, and on to Manzanilla. We will make a few stops but our main treat will be at the mouth of the Nariva River and some of the Nariva Swamp. In this video, I will be playing an array of world music including the local calypso beat, reggae, Indian and African. I pass there recently but the road side grass need cutting other than that the place is beautiful the beaches also the road need much more fixing but bathers be careful this is the Atlantic ocean with a wink of an eye a person can disappear in the high waters when bathing love you all

I loved every minute of this. Wow!!. I lived in Sangre Grande from 1981 to 1986 and I still recognise it all after 35 years. The gas station - which now has a roof - used to belong to my uncle. Thanks for making and posting this video. It brought back so many great memories. 😀🇬🇧

Wow, I can't believe I just stumbled across this video. I lived in and around Sangre Grande until I was 16 and came to the US. I've been away for 30 years now but I knew some of the landmark that were coming up before the driver even got there. So many memories. Thanks!

@@JBsManCave Same! I rather leave extra early, wait till after work/school traffic dies down and I do my shopping on Saturday mornings or Sunday mornings. I never leave the house on Saturday nights now lol.

@@JBsManCave Google maps is my best friend. If it says traffic I ain't going. I rather reach real early and jog, or study or just nap lol once there is security. I have a good strategy for driving too lol. But you gotta be careful now because of crime. Going to Chaguanas or POS is something I do infrequently, as I don't live down there. I won't go anywhere without a good park and I usually park away from people lol. I know how it is
