As always a great vlog, 16 months ago I came down for 3 days and drove from the Hyatt to that Gloconda/Papourie off ramp and went looking for a friend, got lost for bit, but enjoyed all the places I drove through and ended up by the pitch lake! Keep up the great work.

Nice video but respectfully, this is not the Point Fortin Highway. The Point Fortin Highway starts from Mosquito Creek to Point Fortin. In this video, this is the highway to Debe, there was to be a phase/section of this highway (where it currently ends as shown in the video) that connected to an interchange (currently being built) leading into the Point Fortin Highway. But that phase of the highway wasn't completed. However, the Point Fortin Highway itself is almost completed.

Hello there and thanks for the info. There will be another video showing that part. Look out for it! The MOWT signage at the near end of this video clearly says "Point Fortin" but ends at Debe. You could use the Southern Main Road which can take you to San Fernando Princes Town Gasparillo Cap de Ville which can take you to Point Fortin. I am looking forward to part 2.

The unc government took five years to complete over 60 percent of the highway this government will be taking ten years to complete over 30percent and yet we applaud them the creek cannot be fixed up to today why they built on the original wall which had cracks in it so when the tide is rough and high it goes under the roadway and undermines the material so look out for more collapse and they are fully aware of it what a country we live in because of politics

Hello there. At this point the highway stops at Debe as you can see. If it continues I will do a follow up. Nevertheless, a video to Point Fortin and Icacos is on the cards using conventional roads. This video as the name suggests shows you what to expect if you drive down the highway. Look out for the video to Icacos! 😊 💯 👍

Why pass the turn off at grand bazaar to go aranguez and el socorro to then come back up to grand bazaar and then go south?

Good question. Didn't have to, there is a turnoff near Grand Bazaar. Wanted to start at the top of El Socorro Rd but traffic was too heavy! 😊💯 👍
