2:08 if you friend your alts and have them friend your main (or have all alts and main in the same guild), then when creating a group you can set it to private so that (1) only friends/guild members may see and join it.. Stops people from trying to server hop with your autoaccept.. And (2) it'll show the group at the top of the list and in quick join so you dont have to look for it.

ye they made it way easier you just go into your battle.net account on the website go onto games and subs and scroll down click create new starter edition and it adds another wow account, you pay sub on it and then on your battle.net theres a dropdown next to play for which account you just press that for both and it opens 2 wows on the different accounts

Multi-boxers play on different accounts, and pay subscriptions for them so it's not exploiting, you can own as much accounts as you want, but can't use one account to "play" on multiple characters at same time..

I've been doing this (with 1 alt) for 10 years now! you will NOT get banned if you are worried. never tried with more than 1 alt since it disconnects you pretty fast, within 20 seconds but i never disabled addons so maybe that's why i couldn't do it. cool trick most people don't know of!

Ok I need to make this extensive comment because people are so very much confused. First off I don’t no if this will get u banned. I searched and searched for instances of people getting banned for this but didn’t find anything. It’s up to u if u want to do it. Now the next big comment I get is “it doesn’t work, I get disconnected when I log onto the second wow client”. Just to clarify, YOU CANNOT BE LOGGED INTO YOUR ACCOUNT ON TWO WOW CLIENTS AT THE SAME TIME. Got it? Good :) the purpose of having two wow clients is that you WANT to cause the disconnect on ur character. That is what causes him to linger in the dungeon while ur not on him. It’s for roughly 30 seconds till the alt actually leaves the dungeon. I’m my video I was able to make 4 alts level up, there’s no reason u should not be able to make this work for at least one alt. Turn off addons, lower graphics if ur login times take too long. Now here’s the basic easy steps....that I said....in the video: 1.Make a group in premade groups on ur main, set auto-join on, log on ur alt(s) and make it (them) join the premade group u made. 2.Walk all of ur alts into the dungeon. Log on ur main, aggro ALL of the dungeon mobs and bosses (does not work for many dungeons) and bring them to the entrance. 3. Log into ur second wow client (YES THIS WILL MAKE YOUR MAIN DISCONNECT AND THAT IS INTENDED but don’t worry he will still be in the instance holding aggro) and log on ur alt. 4. Now log back to ur first wow client and log on to your main (YES THIS WILL MAKE YOUR ALT DISCONNECT BUT HE WILL LINGER IN THERE FOR AT LEAST 30 SECONDS) 5. Aoe the mobs down and get lots of exp on ur alt If this answered your questions please take the time to give this video a thumbs up :)

I have a question: I have 4 Alts at lvl 60 so if I go all four of them into a group, and took them into hellfire ramparts with my main. About how long would it take to hit 80 and is it still efficient with 4 Alts in one group or should I just stick to one?

Yeah just 2 wow clients in total. Yeah gotta log on them all before killing trash and bosses and yeah u have to walk them all out before u can reset dungeon. It can be a a lil but time consuming

this wont get you banned because your controlling the character. The computer is not playing for you. You are also not using any addon to cheat the system. So you wont get banned. Exploiting is changing the game and doing this is not changing the game. This would be no different from the multiboxers.

This is different from Multi boxing as multi boxers pay to play several toons on different accounts. This by far goes against the TOS under game exploitation. The definition you claim of "not changing the game" how did you come to that conclusion? You're obtaining levels on 4 different characters on 1 account which should have taken you 4 times the amount of time. If it took you 1 week to get from 1 to 60 on 4 different toons, that means you just saved 4 weeks of time which converts into dollars lost by Blizzard. If you haven't been banned yet and have not been flagged then congratulations. However if you have been flagged or have been banned, then grats! This is not a hard thing for Blizz to monitor. Multiple toons levelling at the same "time" from 1 account? lol Before they issue a ban they usually let you violate for a while before they hit you with the ban hammer. During WOD I got super bored and decided to create a new account to Bot for fun and didnt get banned till 3 months after I started botting. I know this example is different from the above. But my point is, even for serious exploits they give you a lengthy amount of time before they ban you. However since the account is tied to my main account i still get to keep my time-lost proto drake that my bot farmed for me so TY Blizz

To put an end to the question on whether this is safe to do, though I don't know why it was ever in question, GM Tryanekus confirmed via ticket US62586967 that this is a bannable exploit. Their exact wording is, "By design, only one character *per WoW account* can be logged in at once - finding a way to bypass that is exploitation of our game's mechanics."

Hence why it is an exploit. This process is abusing a system mechanic meant to prevent players from being punished because of a hiccup in their Internet connection, or a glitch in the game.

You're quite welcome. I, honestly, wanted to try this for myself, but it screamed at me as being bannable. Rather than find out the costly way, I just went to the source to confirm whether or not it was. ^^' I'm all for easy leveling. The scaling zones has been great. I don't feel more pressure to be in a properly leveled zone than to just doing the quests like I did before. It's still not classic, but it's way better than it was.

As per their own wording, it is NOT an exploit... You're not logged in on more than one character, and you're not bypassing the design that logs you out when you log in on another character. They might consider it an exploit for some other reason, but that "exact wording" you wrote there does not apply here.

Did stockades to 60; hellfire ramparts to 80, 80-90 stonecore (using 300% raf, last month), wod bonus objectives/treasures, legion invasions. Put the alts in the same guild in a private group had a 110 carry them; also if the carrier exits the experience on turnin increases (confirmed tbc onwards) and exp increases on the completion bonus until level cap for that expansion's content. Happy allied races and leveling all.

where you loose people is when you cut the visual of what you clicked on, or did, leaving people guessing what you did. logging into you main and alt, then cut to when your logged into a second alt, that right there is where u lost them

Using 1 alt is still probabably more efficient. Some people are concerned this will count as an exploit and get you banned. If you are worried about this, then play it safe and either get a second account, have have a friend run you through or pay for someone to run you. I have two accounts so I use that method. I was only using this method for the past week for testing for this video. I did try searching the internet to see if this was bannable (this dungeon group disconnect method has been around since at least 2014 and I couldn’t find any information on people getting banned)

Using 1 alt isn't more efficient juts to clear that (for those who don't know). If you do with 1 alt 2-3 dungeon / level (mostly 2 later levels 3) . Doing it with 4 alt that is 3-4 dungeon (mostly 3 later levels 4) but that means every 3-4 dungeon is 4 lvl up compered to 2-3 dungeon 1 lvl up.(nothing offensive with this comment).. ;)

I didn't mean it would for sure get you banned, they usually ban off reports or if their software finds suspicious behavior. You would probably have to report yourself or somehow get reported. My point is that if they somehow found out, which is unlikely, it MIGHT get you banned.

Great. I didn't say I cared or wouldn't do it myself, but it could still get you banned if they caught you. If you think otherwise, contact a gm via in game ticket and tell him what you have been doing. I bet that you wont, because it MIGHT get you banned. Well some methods I believe so. In my most recent 1-110 ultimate guide I mentioned how 37-60 having a max level carry through stratholme is good and also ramparts still gives about 20% exp per run. Not sure if super effective tho. But random queues dungeons five decent exp again

Two methods. U can invite a mage if u have one and use he disconnect method and u can create a mage portal in a major capital and teleport them to where ever is closest to the dungeon u need to go too. But I personally used my second account to fly them cuz I’m a lazy person lol.

It is still working however with patch 8.0, they ruined the end of dungeon completion bonus experience when a high level character is in the dungeon making your alts get hardly any experience sadly.

It was nerfed pretty badly. When a high level is in the dungeon, alts get much less exp from mobs (but the dungeon completion bonus is still really good) so u could do it just for killing all the bosses just to get the dungeon completion. Alts can be standing at the beginning of any dungeon to get the dungeon completion too. But the trick is finding small enough dungeons to make it worth it

Thanks for the video. Got 2 alts (2 acc's) to 90 in 9h played (lost much time during pvp ,and lockouts ) but very worth it, just some wired thing in stockades the alt is loged for 1min and 10 sec before he goes offline, in other dungeons like in Temple of Jade on the first boss it can take a long time but the alt wont go off, on the 2nd boss the alt goes off just before u gona encounter the boss so u have to relog him.. same with 3rd boss... In geenral I used a monk to boost thru the dungeons ,great mobility and pulling power with the statue + rusning jade wind for aoe... U want to focus mainly to get the dungeon completion bonus bcz it gives u the most xp ,but keep in mind u can only do 10 runs in 1 h, so some mob grinding/clearing is req. U won't have same results as I did, I've combined full hierloom set + darkmoon buff (10% xp) and had left over RaF on my 2 acc's (the old version,not nerfed,got likek 10 day's left on it), I was getting btwn 2-3 lvl per dungeon ,but hit lockout quite fast, probably ZF would be better over stockades ,u wont hit the lockout too easy in ZF as in Stockades,+ ZF has way more mobs, so it would result in more xp per h... The order I've done it : Stockades 15-61, Hellfire Ramparts 61-80 ( u can go with 58 also,but I would stick to stockades for those 3 lvl),Temple of Jade 81-90(u can go to 91). Hot tip if u can avoid PvP realms... Happy leveling ^^

I don't get it. The characters are disconnected in your video but you keep pulling the instance with your main. Do they get experience when offline?! Or are showing as offline but still standing at the entrance and getting exp?

When I have the instance pulled, I log back over to my alt real quick to refresh him back in the instance and quickly “disconnect”log back to my main and kill the mobs so my alt gets exp before he vanishes from the instance. It’s easy enough to misunderstand how it works, I first found out about it 2 days ago on mmo champion, I had figured these people were getting exp while their characters were offline, but it didn’t work for me and I wondered wtf I was doing wrong lol, apparently a video I watched earlier cleared that up for me, that you pick up every monster until the end of the dungeon and then you log onto your lowbie and then back onto your 110. If your watching and misunderstanding though than that’s a whole other issue haha, I think it’s just basic learning difficulties, some people don’t know they have them.

I never plan on lvling more then one of each class to max lvl anyway, and also Im almost done with that goal already as I said.

So I can do this in stockades with a single alt (barely, ~3 seconds to spare), but I cant figure out how you would do it with more then 1 alt without toons timing out before you finish. What I'm doing is: 1) Log into alt 2) Zone into the dungeon 3) Setup premade group (private, auto-accept) 4) Log into main 5) Join premade group 6) Quickly kill all the bosses 7) Run out of dungeon 8) Log on alt 9) Run out of dungeon 10) Reset Dungeon 11) Repeat from step 2... Is there something I'm missing that gives you more time before the alt disconnects? Thanks!

What I do is aggro all the bosses and mobs on ur main. Take them near the entrance. Log onto each alt real quick then log back to ur main and quickly use one aoe attack to kill them. That’s how all 4 of my alts got exp at once

@Jburtonsemo Ah! That makes more sense, I was assuming the mobs would lose agro and reset if the main logged off with them all attacking him. That is working much better for me, thanks! For anyone like me who likes step by step guides, here is what you do: 1) Position your main and all alts near the dungeon grouped together using a Custom group with Auto-Invite 2) Zone in on your main and body pull all mobs you possible can without killing any. 3) Swap to each alt and zone in with them 4) Swap to the main and AoE down all the mobs 5) Run out of the dungeon 6) Swap to each alt and run out of the dungeon 7) Swap to the main and reset the dungeon 8) Repeat from step 2... That proved soooo much easier then the first method I was trying! You want to run each alt out before resetting because otherwise they create extra instances when you log back in on them and those instances count toward your 10 instance/hour limit.

that is the scaling, and is normal. It does not affect how your dungeon rewards xp for your level 15. It is rewarded based on your level (in this case your lowbie would be getting the xp payout at the level 15 amount)

Well, this is nice, but I don't get how can you put 4 alts together? By the time you connect all of them, the first one will disconnect. Plus, you need to finish the dungeon with your main, that will take the least time in stockades, so I can see that being somewhat possible, but only in that dungeon, since it takes 1 minute or less.

I will try it, after I make 4 alts and will report. Is this better than leveling 4 alts one by one, or 2 by 2? I don't think it will work for me, because my PC is slow and it takes 25-50 seconds to load, this is my experience from Hellfire Ramparts, with the lowest graphics settings, 50% rendering and old models(not sure if it helps). The log out timer is 2 minutes? After you disconnect, you exist in the game for 2 minutes? I will try it again when I disable every single addon. I will also disable the addon manager, I guess. I didn't think it would slow down loading times! Do you have to bring them to the entrance? I think Stockades is so small that you can get XP even from killing the boss at his spawn point. A nasty experience I often had when someone was boosting me in stockades was that I aggroed some mobs and they would kill me.

It still works for me. Yesterday I just did the blood quest for shadowmourne which requires 3 characters. Check my my top comment I posted. Many people were having similar problems. But note the exp had been nerfed about 1.5 months ago (nerfed exp when a high level is in the dungeon) but still efficient when doing lvl 37-60 in stratholme. I did this today 3 times. First time, this morning, my alt gained 92,824xp at level 34, which promoted to level 35, running Stockades. Later this afternoon, I ran twice more, and only got 24,398xp and 22,396. None of these runs involved quests, since they had already been completed. Is there a massive bonus xp for the first run of a dungeon each day ? Is this still worth it if only getting 22k - 25k xp ? Also, I found it helps GREATLY to minimize your inactive wow client before logging in on the other, if your computer struggles at all.

First off awesome video keep up the great work. Question tho can i clear the dungen with my main stand at the last boss. Log out run my alt to boss log out kill boss with main? Is that how it works?

Well u can actually have your alt stand at the entrance and have your main kill the boss, and ur alt will get the full dungeon completion bonus. They had nerfed the exp u get from mobs while a high lvl is present but the ending dungeon completion bonus is still solid and yeah just stand at the entrance to get that exp :D Stratholme bonus objective bosses give lots of exp from lvl 37-60 and ramparts takes about 2 minutes to do and gives about 20% exp per run, those 2 dungeons r great for this! Hope this helped :D

hmm i wanna do it with 4 alts... do i need to gather with main all mobs/bosses bring em back to enterance, and then relog again on all 4 alts and after that log onto main again and kill it ? or i missunderstood u somehow, i understand that first time i get alt in dung and dc for other one, u said they stay there for about 3 mins, and 2nd time when i bring everything to em i need to relog each alt again and that time they will stay there only for 30 sec... is there enough time to relog all 4 alts, log again onto ur main and kill all mobs ?

It’s a lil challenging to do it. Gotta be super quick. But they nerfed the amount of exp u get from mobs when a high level is in the dungeon carrying the alts but the end of dungeon completion bonus still gives pretty good exp so using small dungeons is best. Like stockades. The alts just have to stand at entrance to get the the dungeon completion bonus so all u have to do is get it higher level char to the last boss and d/c all 4 of ur alts back into the dungeon and quickly kill the last boss. Make sure to have all addons disabled. If ur computer or internet is a lil slow it can cause some issues with trying all 4 alts at once. I hope this was helpful Also hellfire ramparts is great from 60-80. But i recommend just taking each alt at lvl 73 and soloing Kara trash individually till 81. At 83 carry ur alts in lost city Of tolvir till 90

im doing it with 4 dks, my main is hunter. i ll start with ramparts, so let me repeat if i got it right xD i make that grp like in vid... get into grp with all 4 alts, stand infront of dung with em... then go with my hunter inside just go and stand at last boss (should i kill any bosses be4?i ll do it anyways its one shot) . then relog on all of 4 alts and get into dung, then relog again to main kill last boss , and all 4 of em get exp for finishing dung? plz tell me i got it right xD

There’s some role play that takes up time and the first boss actually takes a while to kill and if U kill him too fast u can glitch the fight and be stuck there

just wanted to say thx, i got it to work, my dks are 62lvl and im getting about 45-65k exp per run, does that sound like okey amouth ? its pretty fast with all reloging i need like 8 mins to do run... currently at ramparts... anyway im pretty sure it pays off cuz its 4x chars with 45-65k exp per 8 mins

Well the exp was nerfed about 2 months ago when a high level is present but dungeon completion bonuses still give good exp. the alt just needs to be present in the dungeon for that dungeon completion bonus. Stratholme from 37-60 is good for all the bonus objective bosses. Ramparts takes about 2-3 minutes to clear, and temple of jade serpent is decent. Wod’s slag mines is also a good dungeon for the completion bonus

Greetings! I saw another method somewhere where you can power level an alt by bringing it into a dungeon with your main and have the alt follow you through the dungeons, getting exp along the way, does this method still work?

Without using two wow accounts, that could theoretically work but u would have to keep relogging into ur alt to make sure it doesn’t actually completely disappear from the dungeon, (which typically is around everything 30 seconds). Sounds like a lot of hassle but is a very interesting idea!

Sadly no once u enter an instance 10 times within an hour u get locked out until it has been one hour since ur first instance entrance :(

The only thing that got nerfed for this was the exp, because it bugged due to the new scaling. All the lower characters would be getting what the highest character would normally get. So if you ran with a 110, and the mobs are all 60, the alts would get level 60 equivalent of XP. That was what they nerfed. So they're get the XP based on their own level again instead of that.

Na, check the top comment I made. It answers just about every question people have had on this topic but since I have made this video they nerfed the exp u can get in dungeons when a max level is present, well the exp from the mobs anyway. U still get full exp from the dungeon completion bonus.

Only real problem I had with this method was bosses leashing. I tried zulfarrak ( terrible terrible idea, the move polymorph and doesn't work) every boss in that one leashes, I've also tried RFC, and idk if I pulled to many or not, but the first boss and the second boss both leashed on me. Weird that the last one didn't

Sadly the quickest way for me seems to be to log on main, run out of dungeon. Disband group, reset all instances, form new group. Log on alts, run out of dungeon and join the new group. I also reset all instances individually on them. I’m sure there’s a faster method

This method got nerfed about two weeks ago I did a video covering what they did :( basically tho when a high level char is in the dungeon, characters get reduced exp verse mobs but still get decent experience for the dungeon completion bonus

Blizzard authenticator is also super annoying But thanks to your guides im already lvl 99 fighting the legion normaly i slow down alot at around lvl 40 Alsl in draenor i basicly only did bonus objectives and treasures with the bonus 20% and heirlooms and go 3 levels in 1 hour

Life saver. Leveled from 42- 60 extremely quick. One thing though, i'm trying this method with Ramparts now that i'm 60 and i'm having trouble holding the agro on my main for some reason. Should i try a different dungeon?

Hmm. have u tried just aggroing everything (except for 2nd boss, the demon guy, he cant be pulled away i believe) and take all the mobs to the last boss, log on ur alt then log back to ur main and kill them? Ramparts is small enough that your alt will get the exp even if the mobs are killed where the last boss is

Another option is u could try to be on a mobile character like dh or hunter and quickly log in once on ur alt to get him started In the dungeon, then log on ur main and quickly kill everything instead of just trying to aggro. I’m just super confused on why ur main is losing aggro, that’s pretty annoying annoying :(

In Theory it could be the dungeon. If you wanted to try something different, Karazhan trash farming could be an option. You get just about the same exp per elite mob, but u could aggro lots (Horses up to horseman, Beasts in the dark basement area to the right of the entrance, dancers in ballroom, mobs above ballroom and leading to maiden of virtue, and all the mobs attending the play). I have not actually tested this myself, but a viewer said they got decent exp doing this. This method could at least help u avoid those silly mobs resetting, but the downside is you wont get the "end of dungeon" bonus xp reward. Not this if that would be optimal or not.

what dungeon to run for 80-90? ive been running jade temple but its not very good for all the bosses, just the last two can be used reallly, also the banners that you get from guild vendor increase the experiance from the final boss bonus apparently

Am I doing something wrong? I got it figured out how to long in, 2nd client, etc.. I am getting xp, but only about 4 bars per run.. I've done 3 and only 3/4 of the way to level 11.. do you need a minimum level for this to be beneficial? I'm in RFC in Org.

The mobs level needs to be yellow to ur alt. If they are red then u get reduced exp. I suggest waiting till lvl 14-15

I used to do this 10 years ago at the start of WOTLK, i only had a laptop with no GFX card in it. I used to open 5 Clients and all you had to do was change the target shortcut in wow.exe properties to open multiple windows - long before the days of BattleNet. I would boost 4 alts with my main prot pally, inspired by wowhobbs but i learnt how to RaF myself and max my time. I never told anyone how to do it :p

so another way to open 2 WoW is to just open the game from the folder its in, double clicking the WoW.exe file twice will open 2 WoWs....and 2nd I had a question about SM dungs...can do any of em? or is there a specific one that doesnt have a boss barrier?....stockades is like the dream but im horde so its more of a pain for me...been tyring to find a good sub, tried sunken temple but hakkar resets >< ...please let me know which Scarelt Dungs that dont have, they seem to be the best option for horde if they dont have any barriers.

Sadly I think all of the SM dungeons have barriers. Ragefire chasm May be ur best bet. Just skip the lava worm boss and aggro everything else. Razorfen Kraul has quite a few bosses and I don’t think the last boss aggamagamen or whatever his name is, resets.

Multiple characters from same account. I explained in the video lol u log between each wow client on your same account. Log a character in then go to ur second wow client and sign in (this will make ur first wow client disconnect which causes your first character to linger for a short period of time which is how I was able to make 4 alts level up at same account while carrying them on my main which was also on the same account. It’s all about logging in to the other wow client to cause character disconnects. If it’s still confusing check other comments, I have typed many paragraphs trying to make this process more understandable. Also many others have posted comments as well on how to do it

Yep that’s what it’s supposed to do. Follow the instructions I gave in the video. Start by forming a group in group finder on ur main. Log on to the other wow client and log on your alt. At the same time the first wow client u were on will disconnect. Then make ur alt find ur group u made in group finder and walk ur alt In the dungeon. Go back to ur other wow client, the one that is disconnected and log back into ur account and log on ur main, (ur alt will still be visible in the dungeon for a bit because of the disconnect method). Pull mobs and bosses back To the entrance of the dungeon, then minimize that wow client then log back Into ur other wow client and log on ur alt to refresh him on he dungeon Then log back into ur other wow client and log on ur main (this will cause the wow client your alt was logged into to disconnect which again is what we want, this causes ur alt to temporarily stay In the dungeon while u kill all the mobs and bosses with an AoE on ur main. All my characters in the video at the beginning were disconnected while my main killed the mobs and they still leveled up. It’s all about swapping between wow clients. Yes disconnecting is the point not the problem. Hope this helped :)

Exp has been nerfed when a high level is in the dungeon. So it’s kind of a toss up. The end of dungeon bonus exp remains unchanged tho. It’s hard to say if it’s actually worth it :(

My alts usually disappears in 30-20 seconds, i'm so glad that i bought SSD and copied my WOW to it xD Well, that little issue aside everything else is fine and i'm currently leveling up 2 alts at the same time) So thank you again!)
