Im glad im not the only 1 hearing a change in sound when you change that stock cable on kz as10. Try the copper silver mix cable from kz compare it to the stock theres a big diff.imo.

Design wise I still prefer the stock brown cable because it has the pin protection around it. The 90 degree 3.5mm jack is also a big bonus since It is directly connected to a good player.

Bro, best cable for KZ ZS10 Pros? Not sure if I messed up but already ordered a JCally 8 core QDC, and a 16 core Yinyoo QDC. Also saw a TRN T3 8 Core. Thoughts? Btw, awesome channel! Edit: My jCally QDC just arrived, works well but it's so hard to see which is left or right, turns out there's a very faint marking. Is it bad for the IEMs if you get the connections wrong?

The amount of cables braided together as a previous comment said, they usually go up in multiples of 4 but you can find 6 cores and so on. They're mostly for aesthetic reasons but they can also be for durability, although the more cores you have the heavier it is. For iems it's really better to get between 4 - 8 cores, if you're using them for desktop headphones then 16 cores will be great too.

Charls L.: I highly-recommend Yinyoo 8-core cable. I prefer it over TRN 8-core. Better image separation and details. The bosses of TRN and Yinyoo are very good friends... So no worries even if I recommend Yinyoo instead of TRN cable to you.

core doesn't matter to sound quality, many cheap cables has more cores just for decoration and they don't even connected to the jack. however if you want a soft, premium looking cable, it still worth the money though

Save the look and feel stuff for later.....people care about how they sound: experts say better cable just increases volume, or silver sounds brighter than copper cables i dunno? This is where u can hone in on,: can better cables affect soundstage, imaging, instrument separation, details, brightness in treble, impact in bass, clarity of vocals, or like experts say just volume, design, comfort, etc....
