someone already said it, but yeah only the event of 06 is removed, but the places and characters such as Soleana, Elise, Kingdom Valley, etc still exists Iblis, Mephiles and Solaris are completely removed from the timeline, and only specific event like Shadow Generations is the only time where they got the chance to restore themself to the timeline, which you can see Mephiles are desperate to do so

One thing I will point out- the bit in the journal where it's talking about the Artificial Chaos going out of control, and Shadow pacifying them, is a reference to a Shadow the Hedgehog level where Maria asks you to destroy them

I love how enthusiastic you are during the gameplay lol. You even talk to each character and learn more about them. Also, when you referenced Helen in Sonic X--Yeah, I remember her! That episode between Sonic and her was so sweet. If Shadow ever met Maria in X, then Shadow would definitely make quick friends with her, since Helen has so much of Maria's spirit. And OMG, this game DESTROYED me. I beat the game 2 DAYS AGO, and the physical copy arrived the day before, on the 25th, meaning it took me a day to beat this game (embarassingly). The ending was so bittersweet bro--Maria holding Shadow's head, and them touching foreheads, with her telling him: "If fate draws us apart, then I'll always be in your heart." MAH HEART, MAH SOUL 🖤❤💙💛😭 I took SO MANY screenshots lmao. I cried at that part. Not just crying. UGLY crying. Crying like a newborn baby. Beautiful game. 9.5/10. It would be a 10 if they put Casey Williams's "Without You" in the end credits for the extra dose of sadness. As a 16 year old who has been a Sonic fan since I was 6, I was amazed and 100% satisfied with this game. It revived my childhood game, Sonic Generations, as well as give Shadow HIS OWN GAME AFTER 19 YEARS!! AND EXPLORE HIS DYNAMIC WITH MARIA!!!!!!!! Ian COOKED with both SXSG's GAME and PROLOGUE, my GOD.😭
