I just replaced the cooling unit in our fridge with a 12v compressor. So far it is working great. Cools so much better.

I just made the trip last month to Shipshewana IN, and Aaron and his brother converted my Norcold 2118 absorption unit with the 12 volt unit. I can't believe how well they work together and how fast the new 12V dual compressor unit cooled the refrigerator down! In preparation for the conversion I had already run a 10-gauge wire and 30 amp circuit breaker directly from the battery to the back of the refrigerator - this save me $200 from what they would have charged to do this. I'm so happy that my 18 cubic foot Norcold is now working as it should, and highly, highly recommend JC Refrigeration!

It’s so cool how they can convert your fridge to a compressor fridge without ever taking it out of your rig. We love the work ethic and craftsmanship that the Amish provide. We have the double compressor unit 12 volt was the best investment for sure and can run 8 hrs on batteries when traveling .

@@TheEdelKampers We went with 2 batteries think they are lead acid . I also have generator just incase .
