I gotta be honest, the wonky proportions to me look more how I remember in the show. The arms were always a significant element of his design. And seeing the Hasbro Pulse stop motion shorts with him and Kup just look great to me. I feel it's hard to say what proportions look "correct" when you're talking about a G1 cartoon design. Sometimes wonkiness just looks right in some cases.

i never noticed the weird proportions of 86 blurr because mine came with super loose arms and legs and that distracted me from it and made me hate handling it

Blurr has a pretty good track record of having good toys. Kind of realized how many I have, including the Animated.

i know that titans return had the whole hasbro toy colors and takara toon colors, but blurr really doesn’t do the toy colors that well anyway

I don't know why, but I find the hasbro titans return blurr more charming than the takara one.

titans return blurr was the first transformer i bought for collecting purpose, i don't have just 10 recent ones like earth rise prime, hard head, and buzzyworhty bee and spike toysbut he is the reason i ever did any.

I used my Titian returns tf blurr, but this arm broke and I used my new studio series Blurr

I had both of these and once I got the studio series I sold the titans return. There’s no comparison.

TR really is just let down by it's colors. I'm personally not a fan of the animation colors at all, so the Takara one looks a lot worse IMO. Maybe if he had a lighter shade of blue and some black to evoke the Animated colors. 86 would be a sidegrade if it weren't for that trashfire of a face. He legitimately looks like the Bogdanoffs (RIP). I'd call the Velocitron IDW one objectively better if it weren't for the arm kibble being exponentially worse. Nothing a modification can't fix, but it's still not the "perfect" Blurr.
