When the unpaired electron on Carbon atom, you can not consider the nuclear spin of carbon but when the electron on metal, in the hyperfine splitting you consider the nuclear spin of metal . So my question are why you not consider the nuclear spin of carbon atom in the hyperfine spiltting pattern?

doubt mam agr hydrogen participate kr rhe h to oxygen ka kyu nhi le rhe contibution mean hmesa ya to proton ka lee rhe h ya o ya nitrogen ka?
@aman89934 жыл бұрын
bcz oxygen is a non magnetic nuclei..and acc. to drago's rule hydrogen attached with non magnetic nuclei will take part in splitting.thats why we take hydrogen contribtion instead of carbon. and nitrogen is a magnetic nuclei so hydrogen attached to a magnetic nucei will not contribute in splitting.thats why we are taking nitrogen here instead of hydrogen.

In case of Ti(OH2)6, (time-10.29), there are two types of proton present: axial & equatorial. But you are taking them as equivalent during calculation. Why so ??
@chinmaythakkar0074 жыл бұрын
Bro axial and equatorial is considered only in case of John-Teller Distortion, which in this example is not there. That’s why madam took all 12H into consideration as equal.

if we have a molecule with one more weight and one with less weight ,less weight atom will split first right? like HD+

No, the atom with higher mass no will do the splitting first In case of HD+, if we draw the tree diagram then...first a triplet due to D and then doublet due to H

@@JChemistry ok mam,but one more dought that if we go with metal complexes followed by Drago's rule , will we consider unpaired electrons always to get total number of lines? Because in Ur video for one TI+2 complex u have taken lines along with unpaired electrons but for one more TI complex u didn't take ,so that iam asking.
@krish.bhashyam5 жыл бұрын
Mam,I am sorry to say this but after preparing the notes given by you ,I have tried to solve all previous questions,but for some questions I wasn't able to answer because the information regarding that questions is not there in your lecture but u said that this information is enough to do the questions, really Iam very disappointed while solving some questions...we have to prepare other books also for this spectroscopy along with your lectures? Because if i am not able to answer for some questions even after listening your lectures,I am getting demotivated.
