while solving question 6. (N-)R2, nitrogen has alrdy aquired octet config by the two bonds with R and the negative charge, so even in terminal position it.ll donate a lone pair right? so 2 e

@J Chemistry Mam (NR2)- me kwki octet complete tha aapne 2 electron deke direct hi coordinate bond kww ni banaya. Uska octet to complete h and usme vacant orbital bhi nahi h. To uska electronic contribution to 2electrons as terminal ligand and 4 electrons as bridging hona chahiye tha... As it can only form coordinate bond by sharing its lone pair of electrons... Please reply...

Ma'am neutral ligand can be defined like as ligand attached at terminal or be it bridging will be contributing same no. Of electrons. Example: NC(CH3) with 2e- contribution , Si(CH3)3 with 1e- contribution.

M-PH.... terminal me kithna dega?? U said P minimum three bonds banega like nitrogen. Means metal ke sath double bond hoga. So 2e hei na?

Negative charge matlb 2 e- bt ek khud ka electron n one gained from the atom that left so actually gained electron is 1

In NR2 its would be 2 in terminal and 4 in bridging right?! Bcz N already has filled 8 elections by taking -ve

Because 2. (CH3) are on bridging positions make it remember we are studying bridging ligands

9:49 here halogen atom is bonding with metal by different electrons so the bond should be weak and strong alternatively if he undergoes in bridging 🤔🤔🤔
