Hey J.... I know this video is a couple of years old or more but I just purchased this fragrance yesterday and I was going through do KZbin channels to see who was actually reviewing it I did not know you at the time and I came across your video you are absolutely amazing I heard a lot of negative things about this fragrance but I purchased it eye blind bought it because I smelled it in the store and I just fell in love with it and when I listen to your version of this fragrance it was exactly the way I proceeded so thumbs up to you man you are my fragrance icon thank you so much bless you much love my brother

I wear this fragrance for gym and outdoor sporty activities. Not because of the name lol, but I really believe it's meant for that. On the other hand, there's Chanel sport which I feel more suited for causal.

Nice review. 👍 My most complimented scent for the past 2 years here down-under. 🌏🇦🇺 Ladies do like it allot. Very smooth blend of watery citrus (most prominent blood orange) with tiny sprinkle of iris (I still detect it, even though it's not mentioned in the notes) & pink pepper. In the drydown it's creamy sandalwood with nutmeg.

I finally got my chance to smell this new version. It smells 90% to the 2012 Version minus the Iris. It still last 2-3 hours on my skin just like the 2012 version.

Thanks for that great review I haven't seen it here in the UK so I guess you guys have it first. I have the 2008 and the 2012 and enjoy both for summer. I really enjoy Dior Homme L'eau as it has more seasons I can wear it but sport is good for spring and summer. Dior is my favourite House so I always look forward to their release

I'd say that the performance on DHS is much better than DHC. You'll know when you smell it!

Thanks Tung! It depends on what you're looking for. I think that this new DHS has the best performance of the three you mentioned, though its scent is definitely the least unique. DHS 2012 is very nice if you don't mind ginger and iris (which can make the fragrance more unisex than masculine). DHC smells beautiful but just doesn't last long.

The old Dior Homme Sport had a carrot smell to it because of the iris and the ginger made it very harsh. I didn't know they recreated the fragrance! Will try it soon hopefully

Great review this is exciting to me.. I used to really like the 2008 version.. that one was a ginger citrus combo.. Was amazing... but the 2012 was weak as shit.. at least this one sounds like it has better performance... I kind of am disappointed when I heard you say "no ginger". That is what made the fragrance great.. But its dumb to take out the iris and/or ginger because they already have dior sport cologne which is pretty much a citrus musk frag.

Thanks bro. And I totally understand your skepticism with the exclusion of ginger and iris. Though somehow, it still kind of smells like it comes from the Dior Homme line. They kind of made the scent "simpler"...not dumbed down by any means, because I still find it fairly rich for what it is. Its just simply pleasant, no one could hate the scent...but I can see how some people may just not be too excited by it. Depends on what you're looking for.

Can I ask you a question? I have a bottle of creed original vetiver and the perfomance of it compared to this dior homme sport 2017 seem substantially worse,like night and day this seems like it's just kicking out compared to my creed? Is that how that fragrance is or do I have a bad batch, I know its genuine.

Hm...there are a number of things that can affect fragrance performance. How old is your bottle of Original Vetiver?

@@stayfreshproductions it's from 2019, I have a pretty decent collection of about 50 bottles, ov just seems flat out weak to me. I know it's probably not going to be beast mode, but I'm honestly just not impressed especially for the money.

The Tech Librarian That might explain it. Unfortunately, Creed is known for their batches getting weaker with time. If you have a recent batch, that is probably why it is not performing well for you.

(Dior Homme Parfum). PS: can I spot the difference between Dior Homme Sport 2012 and 2017 ? In case the shop is trying to sell us the 'old' version.

Except for the smallest size (the 50ml), the 2012 version is/was available in an 150ml and 100ml size, the 2017 version is only available in an 125ml and 75ml size. The 2017 bottles are longer and thinner aswell in comparison to the 2012.

I went to a Sephora and they still had the tester from 2017, it’s 2023 now, they were out of stock, i couldn’t stop smelling my wrist after I sprayed the tester on me, best smelled i smelt in a while, the dry down is the best I ordered 2 bottles on eBay
