Daffy is portrayed as stupid in this show but he wasn't initially bright to begin with in past iterations of the original run of Looney Tunes. Besides his jealous rivalry of Bugs, in earlier cartoons starring him, he acted like the definition of his name and was pretty mindless when tricking others. It wasn't like how Bugs tricked others. I think with the modern show in this they combined all aspects of Daffy in past iterations to make this Daffy of the Looney Tunes Show. Mindless, unpredictable, selfish and vain.
