I just bought one of these. REVIEW CORRECTION ** you can get full range of motion backwards on the bottom arms by loosing the bolt underneath with Allen key. It will allow you to put them both arms right next to each other giving you more desk space

To avoid the wall issue for some screen sizes you can just set the clamp in an offset position and have one monitor arm effectively folded back over itself, and the other fully extended (if that makes sense). Then you just swivel at the vesa mount 90 degrees and all arms should be running the length of the wall.
@ChefJeremy20012 жыл бұрын
I always see people complaining about this as well... I had the same thought, extend one arm completely and fold the other. I have never tried it. Do you have personal experience with that?

Great video, thanks for posting. I got one of these the other day and they are really good, especially for the price. I screwed a small block of 2x4 wood to the back of my desk then clamped it to that to free up a bit more desk space.
@HamedEmine Жыл бұрын
What this review doesn't tell you, YES, you can put two 27" monitors horizontally and still have a considerable height room/space underneath. You can get them close together by folding the arms a bit, or have the arms completely extended against the wall and have a large gap in between while the monitors are flush against the wall. The maneuverability of the arms is insane! But they don't allow a vertical layout of the monitors (on top of each other) The base houses a room for two USB ports, you can put your USB extenders in there and use it regardless of the ports layout (have the cables come out completely), just make sure the cover of the USB room is completely flush with the base when you screw it back on (underneath the base)

You can easily just buy a wall mountable monitor arm bracket. Would probably suite your needs a lot better. I would be very cautious/advice against clamping this on a shelf as it's not stable/might rip off the wall. Always better to mount the arm directly onto the wall itself. These ones also won't allow you to stack. There are monitor arms dedicated for stacking.

How far is it from the back plate to the end of those clamps just so i know how much space you need to clamp it on the underside of the desk. I read that the diameter of the clamps is 45mm and the gap between the clamp and back plate is 10mm making that total distance from the back plate to the end of the clap 55mm. Meaning i would need 55mm of space on the underside of the desk to make sure that the clamp and back plate are secured properly.
