I can remember Clarkson loving this car the first time he drove it. Maybe he changed his mind in later years? However, I have heard other jounalists and former racing drivers say that kind of stuff about them, and I totally agree with you, I can't stand it.

@@martytdd1606 something happened alright, I'd say audi didn't take kindly to the show taking the pee out of their cars, a fab episode of the grand tour was the audi quattro rally car vs the lancia, he wasn't/didnt allowed drive the audi quattro at all whereas he did drive the lancia. I could be totally wrong

Yeah when he drove this car the first time he said he’s sitting 12” or something away from the best engine ever made , i own this 07 RS4 as i own for example a ZL1 1LE obviously the speed “hp” is none comparable but let me tell you..I’ve never drove a car that can handle so damn amazing dry/rain WOT all day so quick and nimble it’s mind boggling i love this Audi.. wish it only had a little more room in the engine bay to put a twin turbo kit on it would be crazy

Clarkson actually loved this car. He picked it in a recent grand tour episode. Ben Collins (old stig) is quoted saying if these cars understeer you don’t know how to drive em. I’ve got a b7 s4 avant and would looove to have th rs4 drivetrain in it

JCviggen1 Gotcha! I have looked into the JHM system for the RS4 and I've seen a cat-back system. Is this the same setup you have or do you have headers/downpipes as well?

I have a full exhaust including downpipes and cats from JHM. Stock headers, the RS4 headers are so good from the factory there's not much to improve on.

I have an earlier video with esp fully off - on the dry it does not really matter as TC off by itself is enough to not be bothered by the systems unless you really screw up :)

@@hsg090909 Stimmt, leider habe ich den rs4 verkauft vor einige monate. Mein Deutsch ist auch nicht so gut ;-) got tired of fixing the small problems. On this lap I had reduced power from stuck intake manifold flap. Too slow on straight line for a good lap time :(

Du musst halt einmal alles und richtig machen damit du Ruhe hast ! Ich hab letztes Jahr neues Fahrwerk , neuen ölkühler , neue kupplung , und Bedi reinigung gemacht , waren über 6000 € . Das lohnt sich für mich weil ich nicht weiss was ich anderes kaufen soll :) dir alles gute
