Once again, Kudos! Thank you for explaining how to get into the effects mode(s). I was getting a bit frustrated because on other videos (not by you) they don't show or explain the steps involved to just get into the effects mode. Excellent as always. - I have a JD-800, it's been in a cupboard for 10 years because apart from a couple of lush string pads it is pure cheese and that distortion is really horrible, love my SH-01A though.

You’re right. It does lend itself well to polyphonic pads. Truthfully, it’s not my go to for grit (for that I typically defer to the Erica Synths DB-01 or the Behringer TD-3). I’ve heard good things about the SH-01A. I’ll have to give it a try. Thank you!

Can the aux in signal recieve the internal effects?

As far as I can tell, no. I tried running the OP-1 Field through the JD-08 just to see what would happen but it seems to only play back the original signal. I will let you know if I come across something that makes this possible. Excellent question by the way. Thank you.
