This isn't a spoiler, but speculation here at 4:27 When Luffy is about to share his dream, they indicate that his dream is the same as Roger's It isn't being "King of The Pirates", cause think about it Luffy's dream is the same as Roger's, but Roger was called 'King of the Pirates' by people, this title wasn't a thing back then during his journey. It was formed by the people, and wasn't something that Roger actively strived for And Luffy's and Roger's dream are the same, therefore it's not "King of the Pirates'" but something else. Every time we got that scene of the 3 brothers, they would always cut out Luffy's words, and even before this episode/chapter came out, it was a huge theory circularing among the fandom, it's a speculation which is not new or anything I thought I'd share this since people forget to talk about it in the comments because the episode itself is a masterpiece

There are many people skipping everything to catch up and say "no this is overrated". My friend 1st anime is Naruto after he finished it he asked me "is there any anime like this?" I said him "watch when One piece It is not best anime but the greatest story ever told". That idiot skipped many things he even skipped half the drum island, little garden, skypiea, so many episodes in water 7 and ennis lobby, half the thriller bark, impeldown and so on after he finally caught up in 18 days and said "nah this is overrated, Naruto is emotion blah blah blah". After that if he talks about any anime I started laughing I can't stop it, that idiot got offended and if he sees any one piece video he starts typing hate speeches.

But then again one piece anime was broadcast Weekly for the past 25+ years so business POV it's does not make any sense to throwing big budget on every episode. For an episode like this to happen, so many things have to come together. And they did! They were able to cash in on the emotional moments of the entire saga for the preparation of the worst generation finally taking on the emperors. The three captains at Sabaody all together once again. The music and animation were beyond what anyone was expecting, the use of Yamato and Oden to connect the past to the present, and the key moments of the story of the Kozuki and Strawhats were mixed in effortlessly. IIRC 1016 was kind of the feeling like "yeah, we know we can't top that last one so we won't even try". They did something special for the episode that covered most of chapter 1000 (!) and even though 1001 was also pretty good they were obviously not giving it the same treatment. Fortunately, there are great moments in the manga that are coming up fairly soon, and lots of the animation for those moments are acceptably great. The director for this episode did the opening for the arc after the Wano episodes wind down. I never skip it. You almost want to frame by frame it to see the awesomeness.
