Ww2 9th Armored Battle of the Bulge/Remagen Bridge Grouping!

Here is another awesome 9th Armored Grouping that I just added. Glad I was able to keep it altogether. This was a little bit of a challenge but I am glad that it worked out in the end.

I am always in awe at your collection, my friend. I hope in the future, you’ll find a space or some type of installation where you can spread it all out and allow others to look and touch these items. My own collection is hidden away, and I am always hoping someone might stop by and wanna see some of the gear. At some point we all want to see it all in one spot, hoping you can bring that to a reality one day. I don’t need to tell you that you inspire me, because you know that. Nice grouping and really good job on the research. Glad you could keep all of the items together, you did the right thing. Sorry to hear about the frustrating transaction, shame on them. great stuff! im so glad it all worked out in the end. im sure its good karma youve spread coming back to you. and as nice as the tunic is, the hbt cap and m41 jacket are as nice or nicer as both are pretty uncommon for the usual reason (ie they continued wearing it in civilian life and wore it out). and theyre all even better being associated in the grouping. yeah, you might have overpaid some, but probably not as much as you think given the totality of the grouping. oh, and the scarf was probably from a drive they had for people (mostly women) making winter good to provide to the soldiers free of charge. so it was probably made with loving care by some lady wanting to help keep a dogface warm. no way to prove it of course, but its nice to think its maybe so.

first, the collar disc isnt infantry they are crossed cannon artillary. second how do you know the m41 and shirt and pants belonged to the same vet.
