Best thing to listen on a Monday morning. 🇵🇷 Thanks a lot, JD and Jesse, plus the guys who took part on the voting poll. See you, OTS crew, on the next review to close out January. ☝🏻😎💯

The Rock definitely had the Heel Turn of the Year. Practically everything that happened noteworthy in the build towards WM 40 revolved around The Rock becoming The Final Boss. When he left after WM. He took alot of the excitement with him.
@Bama205123 сағат бұрын
Nah Jesse they are still feeling the effects of that footage because Punk not only was vindicated by what he said about the incident but he also proved how unprofessional and unorganized that environment in AEW really is
@Tom-w3n7 сағат бұрын
The reason the Punk footage was so important was because it proved him right. If he was honest about that, he was honest about the rest of what he said about AEW, so people stopped watching. Jesse's hate for Punk for how he left is, to quote Jesse, "idiotic". You can't compare how Cody left to how Punk left. Punk was having his personal character assassinated for over a year in the community by executives of that company, turning fans against him with lies, while the owner did nothing to address the behavior. With everything that has happened in AEW since, and everything Punk said proven right, how in the hell can you be upset over what Punk did? He simply told you the truth before you were ready to hear it. That's not his fault

i agree with Jessie on the whole heel turn, The Rock inserted himself in the story and then had to clean it up hence the heel turn, The New Day Heel turn was emotional, I think they did a great job with the whole angle up until that point, greatest heel turn in 2024 for me.

@javarilacet55743 сағат бұрын
The New Days turn is still paying off and have no idea where it’s going. They could drag it on for too long and it gets stale in a month. Who knows (hopefully not). The Rocks heal turn did wonders for everyone involved, regardless of the reasoning.

As someone who stopped watching AEW after Puno left, the way he handled Punk confirmed to me Tony Khan is a clown who doesn't know how to manage talent. How tf do you fumble CM Punk in favor of the Bucks?! Then there was the disappearance of Wardlow, their one homegrown superstar other than MJF and I decided fck AEW.

please please JD can you make this a yearly thing I had really good fun with the voting I had a couple of great weekends with a couple of mates with a couple of drinks and we would go back and watch a few matches plus the fact you made it difficult I found myself having to really think and go back over some things that I couldn't remember and me and mates would debate then we would vote before we chose what we thought was the winner this was fun JD it got a few people in my household involved aswell please bring it back ... thank you

And I 1,000% agree with Don Tony about the Vince McMahon thing... It grieves me that I cannot celebrate the man who built the company that I have been watching on and off since I was 7 years old... I am now 41 years old... the man who started out from an abusive trailer park household and became a billionaire... It grieves me that I cannot celebrate him and venerate his name because of the scandals... It's a damn shame!

Nobody cared about the new day before the turn and there not main eventers, you can't compare it to the Final Boss turn.

As I said during the live stream for the commentator of the year, if Mauro were in that category, we all would have voted him as a definite number 1 for obvious reasons, then my boy JD then for third I would go Pat McAfee and for the women's professional wrestler of the year I'd go with Toni Storm and then mercedes mone and then third would be Athena Palmer from a in ring completive standpoint overall I loved the award show on OTS better then the 2025 Grammys & i definitely want to see JD on busted open radio working with Dave LaGreca.

The fact that Jesse can't get over his personal feel over Punk to completely disregard Punk-Drew feud, made this show a lot less enjoyable to watch. Insufferable.

Wait why isn't Gunther on the cover for the new wwe 2k game. These current wrestlers never going to be as over as guys of the previous years if wwe doesn't put them in storylines that's on par with bloodline stuff 😬😬
@megalodon20124 сағат бұрын
What did Ebu (sp?) do?
@0Damian07 сағат бұрын
I feel like they need to end the Bloodline story. It has gone on for too long, and the storyline is getting boring. At first, it was actually Bloodline vs Bloodline, now it is now they are getting wrestlers different wrestlers to fight the OG Bloidline just cause they had a bad history with Roman. Maybe it is just me, but it feels like the Bloodline story waa supposed to be ended, but they are forcing it to keep going. The whole Bloodline story is just starting to get confusing. It doesn't even seem like a Bloodline story anymore. It seems like a Rock, Roman, and Cody story.
@adriajones40449 сағат бұрын
Also, this bloodline stuff has to end. We don't need fatu bringing in any more guys. I just have another feeling towards WM rumors going to start of someone else joining and you just know it's going to be milked out through out the year likely with fatu vs roman.... But at next year's mania lol
@0Damian08 сағат бұрын
I thought I was the only person person getting bored and tired of this Bloodline storyline. It has been going on for too long, and I don't want another 2+ years of it

Does anyone think Tiffany stratton run will be like Mariah may run? You know, hold the belt for a while but will not have any meaningful storylines? 3 weeks in hhh won't even let her cut a promo on her own.

There’s a pattern with Jessie ,he wants everything black to win. Swerve wrestler and feud. Prince nana what the f does he do besides looks like he’s driving an invisible car. Says house of black as stable. New day heel turn was mid. Just words. Ten yrs not 11 Jesse drooling over swerve as aew woy. Athena lol. Took six categories wwe female woy for Jesse not to say (insert black wrestler) Blow up doll doesn’t count as a women in his bed Jessie brings nothing to this.
@DavidoGrahaminho5 сағат бұрын
My 5 year old is more mature than Tony Khan and the Young Bucks, they are petty little kids and I’m a guy who believes that CM Punk doesn’t deserve the spot and forgiveness that WWE has given him. AEW had the opportunity and still does to become the top wrestling company, Tony Khan needs to get out his own way
@JCLopez2099 сағат бұрын
Honestly I agree with Jesse on the CM Punk situation. I'm kinda the same way with Jeff Hardy. His constant Alcoholic Arrests really damaged my support for him. As someone who has a shit ton of family members who are alcoholics, It made me hate Alcohol and any type of beverages that get u looking and sounding like a dick. So I completely understand why Jesse isn't a fan of CM Punk.
@flarenexuz11595 сағат бұрын
he was an addict jeff story is sad the only reason he has been given so many opportunities is cause he brings in money hes a must have as a guy in the business yes he shouldnt be in hes failed everyone badly as a friend tho jeff deserves support cause he was in a dark dark place so your support for him as a wrestler can be gone but as a human sorta rude to just lose faith in one clearly in battle with addiction just my opinion tho
