It was a great show. Although the viewership has been down, AEW has been improving its storytelling in recent months. It all came together perfectly last night. And the matches were exceptional as always.

AEW was fantastic, with Heel MJF returning, and an incredible match between Brian Danielson and PAC. The match between Daniel Garcia and Ospreay was also impressive. I'm thrilled to see Britt Baker back and ready to challenge Mercedes Mone.

We’ve seen this before and them dropping the ball a few weeks later. Hopefully they don’t but with past experiences they likely will. 2019-2022 was the best years of AEW.

@@fithealth247 Honestly since the evp leaked out that backstage footage about CM Punk and Jack Perry, AEW did pretty well for most part of their episodes for Dynamite, not so much for Collision (Revolution, Dynasty, DoN and FD were been a proof about AEW product). But this past Dynamite was totally perfect and a great set up for these next several feuds till ALL IN. Strickland vs Hangman (or Bryan Danielson), Ospreay vs MJF and Mercedes moné vs Britt Baker gonna feed families 🔥

Just to comment, JD the reason the music was so loud over the Jack Perry video package was to try and hide the Punk chants. They were in Chicago… the Scapegoat… I don’t think it was a production issue but rather a purposeful choice because some of the boos when he actually came out sounded piped in.

This episode of Dynamite was really fantastic tonight and the biggest take away I loved was the women they killed it tonight as well plus I expect to see a great back and forth between Britt Baker and Mercedes Moné and if they can add Kimille and Jamie Hayter in this I won't have a problem with that plus a heel MJF is always the best but take nothing away from Will Ospreay whose a great babyface in his own right and I get baby face Bayley character vibes from Willow Nightingale as well.

My favorite parts of the night were the Jericho having Taz removed from the arena, Adam Hangman Page return, and MJF going back heel was fantastic. That beat down was awesome. I hope AEW keep bringing us these storyline elements everyweek.

Speaking of Mercedes. Tell me I’m not the only one. Seems like she’s is tapping into her 2015 NXT version of her. But this time is more of a hybrid version. It’s a combo of the Sasha Banks 2015 and her Japan version into one with a sprinkle of blueprint. She doesn’t do that laugh like she did in 2021 feuding with Bianca so that’s a good sign.Can see the light back in her eyes. She’s killing it!

Sure we got Stephanie for the Mercedes match, but all the luchadores for weeks on end fighting BCC and being in basically every match on every show felt horrible, I couldn't care less about these guys ill never see again. Okada in a 6-man match vs Tanahashi Who booked this jesus? Jay White NOWHERE to be found. You have TWO bullet club factions one in AEW one in NJPW and the Finley vs white/ bullet club vs bullet club was a sure-fire homerun. why did this not happen? Instead, you have Gabe Kidd teaming with Roderick. WHY??????? The only thing I can think of is they are saving bullet club vs bullet club for the new PPV they just announced Wrestle Dynasty.

this stream was so much fun AEW dynamite was an amazing show last night MJF turning heel was awesome it's about fucking time I'm really enjoying the owen hart tournaments glad hangman page is back but that was a huge waste what a waste of momentum that could have built off the back of Jarretts promo only person that worked with owen I felt like AEW dropped the ball hangman didn't need the win jeff needed it more well that was anticlimactic lol that mercedes mone and Britt Baker segment was great Britt cut a better promo than mercedes her promos since she debuted haven't been good in my opinion she needs a manager ASAP I'll be catching up with the review later this morning You're the best JD and Jesse.

All In is essentially AEW'S WrestleMania their biggest ppv of the year and no offense to Daniel Garcia but I don't think he's a big enough opponent for MJF (yet) I can see MJF vs Will Ospreay at All In and maybe Garcia comes back and cost MJF the match at wembley and then they do MJF vs Garcia in a street fight or some kind of stipulation match at All out the following week.

Last time AEW Dynamite went that hard & had us all hyped for the direction they were going, they let themselves get sidetracked by a CM Punk interview with Ariel Huwani (I probably butchered his last name, I know) & took major steps backwards reacting to it. This is a great spot they're in now with stars coming back & right away inserted into stories that have the potential for greatness as All-In fast approaches. I don't know what their ticket sold count is right now but it'd be a little demoralizing if they did that show in front of a cut in half Wembley Stadium in 2024 after packing the place with 80K or mid 70K, whichever number you want to go with from differing reports, in 2023.

Deadliest finisher/my personal favorite finisher is the Clothesline From Hell! First time I saw Bradshaw do that when I was a child I thought the other dude died. After a tumultuous Forbidden Door PPV, AEW puts on their best weekly show in several months. Was it perfect? Absolutely not! But it did have what we've all been asking for for years. Storytelling. The ending was the best part of the show. Heel MJF is back! Overall, I'll give this show a solid 7 out of 10.

It’s been recently reported that Cole isn’t anywhere near ready to return, probably closer to the very end of the year at the earliest. So they probably scrapped his storyline which it’s best. Mjf needs something to do in the meantime so turning him heel is best

This was the best Dynamite in several months. It wasn't perfect by any means. But there was a lot to like about this show. The ending saw MJF turning heel on Daniel Garcia. Heel MJF is back! Still some obvious mishaps on the show. But for the most part, it was a pretty decent show. I'll give it a B-.

I honestly believe King Ricochet should be the 5th member of Team Elite just for shock value. Perfect way to bring him in and then challenge Osprey at All In to collect more gold for The Elite. We never seen a heel Ricochet and it could make sense. Osprey vs Ricochet with Callis costing Osprey the title could be huge.
