I think the most important thing to make good bfs reel is the braking system. Its more valueable to buy chinese reel that has good braking system and definitely not make your pocket got a big hole.

The lack of focus on thanksgiving I feel is because family bonds across the board are disintegrating because people are so quick to cut each other off. How much you want to spend? But I agree with Cptlardtree Tree , the DC reels are pretty damn impressive for distance and comes with the “DC” insurance during windy days. Also depends on weight of the lure..line type..ect. Good luck

Curado dc for something in the 200 range. But if u have the money, metanium dc

Ardent hasnt been American made in years. When they were made in America they were pretty awful from all the reports.

I under that they aren’t made in America but they are all American thought up and all American design, as it wouldn’t be different then any lews reel. For the price they are one of the best reels out there, they can easily keep up with any abu, lews, or kast king in its price point. The materials are also very sweet almost all of their bait casters are aluminum frame or carbon fiber framed. Just overall in my opinion they are up there with the biggest companies in quality and awesome looks!!

That's clearly not a BFS reel. Shallow is for braided line and deeper is for FC or mono.

By definition pagans worship many gods/goddesses. Ceres and Demeter would be two of the better known that would have been honored at this time. The specific day isn't important as it has been changed over to the years. (I think FDR changed it last) l don't want to argue with you. I want to enjoy fishing content without religion and politics.
