Smaller companies in the US are really stepping up their bfs lure game. One of my favorites is eurotackle. They partnered with Leo Shang (EPF) and made some 2" and 1.5" plastics that look very similar to these. They also provide bfs crank baits as well.

I had found these little topwater plastics when I went to Japan called Ike-Chu by Jackal. Those spiders remind me of them, but they had a hard plastic ball inside to help them float. I’ve found them online once, still have a few. Great baits to throw in the heat of summer under some overhanging trees.

I must confess...I bought a Shimano Antares DC. And a Daiwa Steez Top gun rod. That particular rod I saw on eBay for over $1000 🤦. I paid $550. And just yesterday I ordered about $350 in lures and terminal tackle....yes I have a problem 😭

I bought two metaniums, I got them for $245 each. That’s absolutely un heard of. Do you think this current trend with pricing will continue? I image just in general reels are cheaper in Japan because that’s where they are made. I will be buying an exsence as well. These prices are just crazy IMO.

No customs fees. In my over 10 years of buying from Japan Ive only paid customs fees once on a 1 piece rod probably due to the size of the rod tube.
