You can get an armrest that "plugs into" the stock center console for around $20.

Consoles can be one of the best interior mods. My 1966 Mustang GT had one of the rare ones (I had the Pony Interior option). It was fully loaded even lap belts.

Hmm I can't remember, maybe $80? The trick is to buy multiple things and ship all of them in one box to cut costs on each individual item.
