I wonder how long that took? Fantastic makeover. If you guys didn't know it's that the Kei fire trucks have the lowest miles because very little use in Japan unless there was a fire to go to, so many of them have less than 20,000km which is like 12,500 US miles. So if you plan on painting then the fire truck is some of the best ones to get! Kei truck life

Thank you for the kind words :) The seats are Autotechnica 4x4 seats. I had to modify the base to keep them as low as possible, and they were locked into one position. But they were well worth the effort, made the little beast even more fun to drive :D

I should have in hindsight but toyed with the idea of leaving them red seeing as tho they were fire truck doors. But ended up taking them off again and painting them white 👍

got the similar led lights but needs something in between harness to work? would be good to know if yours worked straight off the bat? Really come up well personally didnt mind the red doors as many here in japan do red tray and red chassis paint undercarriage for the salt air here.

I was going to leave the inside red given they were fire truck doors but later changed my mind and painted the inners white. In hindsight it would have been smarter to do it all at once without a doubt 👍

The way you installed those front fenders was low level. You didn't really do anything besides paint the wheels and the dash and change the seats. Inside the doors was left red? Nothing is really custom is it.

@@michaelniemi3508 not that it really matters but the inside doors were painted white, installed threaded inserts into the flare fixing points along with hex stainless fixings. All was done about 2 weeks after filming.

Totally agree I should have painted them while they were out. I had intended to leave the inners red as these were fire truck doors, but after fitting them they looked awful so I took them back out and painted the insides white about 2 weeks after I shot the video 👍
