They are actually a c34 laurel based car, not much skyline in them apart form the rb25.

@@blakek361 Dude well... No. I own a stag (s1 but with NEO ecu and rb25) as my daily plus two cefiros as well. Worked on imports for the past 15 years and the WC34 stagea has more in common with the C34 Laurel than it does a R33. even the rear cradle is different being that the RS4 has a wider track than a R33, the floor pan and chassis resembles a C34 laurel not a r33. Last of all it is a C chassis hence the designation WGNC34 for the series 1 and 2. W for wagon, C for the Chassis G for rb25 and N for 4wd . Yes the series 1 stagea had the same S2 rb25 as the r33 and ecu and that's about it, even the r200 diff's in them are different as the stagea has a 6 bolt stub axles, ABS driven from the stubs, 6 bolt coupling and all the same as C34 laurel, the R33's R200 has the ABS driver in the snout, 5 bolt stub axles, 4 bolt coupling and is interchangeable with r32, c33 ,a31 and actually have a R33 r200 4.11 1.5 way in my cefiro. So yeah, the WC34 Stagea is a C34 laurel wagon and not a skyline.

Chassis is C35 Laurel. Power is 231 crank, so probably under 190 to the ground after going through the 4-speed autobox and AWD system. That combined with over 1.6 tonnes of weight, gets you a slow car. I love these things, but you were being very kind about it if it actually is stock haha.

I can think of literally a couple of options for a turbo AWD wagon; a Subaru Legacy (As mentioned by you), and a Toyota Caldina, which contains the Celica GT4 powertrain (if it's a GT-T). I'm a fan of the latter, as it is the less common option.

Curious to know how much these cost in Canada? In Australia, these cars are quite common so you can pick up a series 1 (same in the video) with about 150,000 km for about $6,000 AUD. I myself am a proud owner of a manual Stagea with twin sunroofs so it's great to see Stageas in other places round the world!

Uhh, Check "RS 4 S" and "Autech 260". Both are AWD and manual. Autech has the RB26DETT as well.

No intake noise from your mr2? i think you need to change the stock ct26 turbo. the 3rd gen ct20b has very loud spool noise. That thing you call "intake noise" is just the turbo spooling. the rb25's do have distinct spool noise at low rpm, but not very loud compared to the exhaust sound past 3K rpm. Heck even a turbo diesel hilux has some crazy spool noise in stock form

My MR2 is a stock 1994 JDM GT-S so it does have the ct20b turbo. Plenty of turbo spooling noise but not that much intake noise. There's a difference.

But it's not an GTR engine is it @3.55. No Skyline GTR had RB25DET, but the rest is Skyline GTR stuff. And there is some Stagea that is more GTR than this (with the GTR engine RB26DETT) but they are pretty rare.

I imported this car from pacific coast auto, we searched the auctions, he found this one and we got the winning bid for it at $650cad, plus shipping and broker fees.It landed at the port in van the same month it became legal based on build date.

No one ever talks about the older audi S series. It will match the stagea any day,. Audi s4 4wd 1991-1994 and s6 4wd 1994-1997 (same car) Comes with audi´s v8 OR...the inline 5 banger with turbo (Huge potential 1000+ hp) . Same engine they used in rally (audi S1 4wd) and when they came to usa to beat the us v8 on the tracks late 80´s start 90 in the imsa series.
