I’m a Toyota guy and my favorite engine is the 3S-GTE but this beats the Caldina GT4 by a lot. Definitely the best JDM station wagon of all time IMO.

Good video and you summed up the driving experience really well. Absolutely love my Stagea RS4 after manual swapping it (which is why I spent the last 4 years building it!) but would still also love a 260RS! More Stagea content please :)

I built an rwd Stagea with z-tune front end and wider fenders all around and with the much lighter weight of the rwd version with a r34 gtt manual box and the fiber glass fenders, hood etc it really hauled around on the track days. Got a smidge over 400whp from the rb25 neo with just bolt ons, cams and a top mount turbo so really awesome car if you wanted a huge wagon that was still very sporty. Had a tow hook ready to install before i sold it as well so really was the ultimate daily.

There was a lot of these brought in in the early days most got wrecked for there motor (rs260s) these will now becoming rare Still an affordable option in the 2.5 neo version with AWD See them for sale regularly Even the occasional one with r34 front panels Always enjoy this channels content Rb powered cars are done so well in Australia because we have had them so long we are lucky to see what you and the others are doing

Top notch review, well thought out with lot’s of useful information and not just babble. I’m a self shifting wagon driver myself although mine is a local SSV variant. Love the performance and practicality of a well built long roof. Not sure if I’d call them a sleeper though, my first idea after seeing it with the body kit and wheels was “that’s not stock, beware” Great video, keep them coming 👍

I love mine, its loads of fun and i actually love the styling of them too. They are a bit laggy down low, due to the weight and size of them. I habe thought about getting a GTR to keep it company in the garage (if i can afford to someday) best of both worlds.

We in the US have been robbed of never being able to own and mod gtrs. Also being that I live and grew up in Southern California which is where the import car scene originated from it’s a shame we could never legally own one much less see all the changes from each model year.

The RS2 Avant and VR4 Legnum are perhaps the other 90s sporty estates that compare.🤔 Maybe the 850R too, although it's a step lower in performance.

@Chris-nn3sx10 ай бұрын
This exact car was on facebook marketplace for a very long time - went and looked at it myself and the seller was asking way to much money for what you got imo. Personally found it very disappointing to drive around town as it was gutless down low as Andrew hints at by saying keep it above 5k but around town, realistically you spend a lot of time below 5. Car did look cool though no denying that
