Random comments not in any particular order - Esprit Supra had the firewall modified to sit the 2JZ further back in the engine bay. Mitsubishi GTO aka 3000GT. 08:53 Blue FD still has air conditioning fitted! Buddy with the S13 had a few old school tricks up his sleeve by using a NA front bumper (no sidemount intercooler duct) for better aero and spaced out the lower mounts on the front guards (oem-plus widebody) and make room for the front wheels. Possibly using S14/S15 front lower control arms which are longer than S13. NOB is notorious for dodging any chance of talking to him let alone getting a photo with him. I tried every year at World Time Attack Challenge in Sydney Australia and he's definitely not about interaction with fans 😂 Great video man! Btw 1st and 2nd April is when the World Time Attack Challenge in Sydney is on this year. They will have a live-stream running day and night (both days) The new LED lights at Sydney Motorsport Park are incredible. worldtimeattack.com/index.php/live-stream-holder/

Oh wow! Great insight - really good stuff! For the S13, it reminded me of my old one for sure! I was just thinking it got a turbo swap at some point and kept the NA bumper. I didn't really think about the aero advantage of intentionally using it. He certainly had the how much function can I squeeze out for minimal money approach going. That's interesting about NOB. That was my first time seeing him in person but I had in mind "a team is paying for him to be here so he's working" and didn't really think twice about it. For an event like WTAC though, it would be nice for him to get some pics with fans! I've always loved WTAC coverage. It'll just be nice to see it being held this year. Hope things can get back to normal and we can get all the world teams coming back to it - those early years were great! Thanks for watching and taking the time to drop some knowledge!

@@BRICKHOUSESPL Yeah Nob is definitely a professional racer in and out of the cars haha. The only time I saw him pose for photos was on the podium. Not sure if it's due to anxiety (he never looks anxious) or that he doesn't care for spectators but it's definitely a thing for him only haha I got to meet many of my Japanese heroes in person at WTAC except for Nob, each to their own at the end of the day so I can't hate on him being him. Keiichi, Tarzan, Kumakubo, Toshiki Yoshioka and Orido were all highlights. Funny story about Max Orido, I was lurking around his pit garage at WTAC 2015 and it was taped off with a security guard keeping people out the RSR garage for him and Asabo so at the time I was the only person lurking because everyone knew it was a bust. In the garage was a old guy who I'm pretty sure was a relative of Max because he never touched the tools or cars and did his best to keep out of the way of the mechanics.... As I'm standing at the edge of the garage trying to get a picture of Max whilst the security did his best tough guy impression the old guy noticed what was happening and called out for Max (who was talking to mechanics at the time on other side of the garage) He said something in Japanese to Max then motioned over to me with a dirty look on his face. Max looks over to me and acknowledged the old guy in a affirmative way like his dad had just told him what to do. Max came over then greeted me and pretty much waved off the Aussie security guard, he let me look over the V8 RSR FT86 and got the old guy to take a photo for me with Max. Nowadays I live in Perth Western Australia so I can only cop the livestream instead of being trackside with the livestream and the big screen monitors to get 3 different angles of the same event hahaha

@@rm6330 Oh man, that's awesome! Things like that make for great memories! And it's even better when they don't big time you. Really neat story.
