It's a cool MINI! I also ride in Japan. Driving is really fun!

Nice set of upgrades. But for the indicators, much cleaner/easier to just swap the flasher relay for an LED spec'd type. No need for the special resistor packs on each corner. There are a number of LED bulb replacements for retrro fitting to the Mini bulb holders. Just be sure to use same colour LED to match the lens it will sit behind (amber LED for Amber turn lens; red for tail and brake lamps, white for reverse. Otherwise the LED light will be greatly diminshed behind a lens of a different colour.

Great job sir … love the electric window openers. Wish I had that when I had my daily drive Mini Tahiti back in the late 90s. I’ve had sealed rear windows ever since.

thanks, I have to admit I did consider the sealed window from a theft proofing stand point🥺

@@classicminiculture9800 there is that.. and being more water tight. I love the sliding rear windows on my Traveller. Allows good air flow without a draught.

Thanks for the info on sourcing mini parts i really like the upgrades and the boot lid cover is very simple but clever storage, can you tell us the cost of the upgrades individually, The quarter window openers are top notch. Cheers Dave

I understand your struggles with finding parts, where in NL are you located?
@classicminiculture98003 жыл бұрын
Justin its the cost from the UK these days, after Brexit it has no advantage over any other country, actually in many cases it's cheaper within Europe or even Asia now.
@fossjw3 жыл бұрын
@@classicminiculture9800 agreed, I also currently live in NL, I've been finding a good amount locally
