Dyson Sphere Program is a sci-fi sandbox construction game with space, adventure, exploration and factory automation elements. To construct a Dyson Sphere, you need to utilize automation. Start simple and gradually increase complexity. Maximize the stable output of resources through automated facilities.
Connect resources with conveyor belts, transporting raw materials to processing facilities, and then conveying the products to the next stage. Progress from basic transport lines to elaborate plans for factories with diverse outputs. Utilize your production to drive technological advancements, meeting the necessary conditions for building the Dyson Sphere.
The convenient blueprint technology allows you to save your essential plans. You can save factory designs as blueprints and deploy them directly in other locations, eliminating the hassle of repetitive operations.
You can construct Dyson Shells on multiple orbits, and each layer of the Dyson Shell can be customized. Connect various nodes on the Dyson Shell, creating the patterns you desire. Each Dyson Sphere is a unique masterpiece crafted by you.
Each planet will have unique mineral distribution and ecological characteristics. Every time you enter the game, you can experience a randomly generated and entirely new starmap, with landscapes and resource deposits changing accordingly.
Each planet has its own orbit, experiencing the gravitational effects of its star with rotation and revolution, resulting in day and night changes influenced by the star. In addition, there are unique celestial bodies such as neutron stars, white dwarfs, red giants, and even black holes, awaiting your exploration in this vast universe.
The Dark Fog has arrived, resenting countless challenges to your factory construction endeavors. In addition to pursuing the goal of building the Dyson Sphere, you must also focus on defending your factories in Rise of the Dark Fog. The Dark Fog will do everything possible to hinder the progress of the "Dyson Sphere Program," with Icarus also being a target of their attacks.

Another important thing to note is that a Planetary Shield will prevent any Relay Stations from setting up a base in its protected range - that's any part of the blue, even if it isn't the teal top of the dome area.

There is something you forgot and maybe don't know because everyone is using missiles all the time. You can force a planetary base to produce alot more matter and be constantly in turbocharge mode. Before the patch this even happened when there were guns in range of the extensions it wants to build. It then goes up from +180 matter to 560 720 and sometimes even +900 matter. Another surefire way to increase its matter and thus its unit production is to have the signal tower radius overlap the planetary base. Now obviously people who use missiles don't benefit or found that out (thats why you probably don't know) because the missiles will destroy everything. Another thing is, that a planetary base will only generate spacehive threat if you do force a base like in your video for units to come constantly towards you. If you only kill the waves that come at you at 100% threat of the planetary it will not generate threat. Another thing you forgot is that a planetarys base threat goes up faster the closer you build something to them. So you can actually farm a planetary base and level it without it affecting spacehive threat, by building close. Or if you have good space defenses you can overlay a signal tower over its base and it will spit out units 4 or 5 times as fast as you are doing here. In regards to the hive and a planetary, you cannot actually starve a hive when a single planetary is alive, it will still get enough matter to expand and build ships. You also cannot starve a planetary of matter, even if you don't allow it to expand, or if you do allow it to expand, there is always matter to export. The planetary bases always have the same pattern. They have 3 sentries 3 raider camps. Then from the plasma sentries on they will build 3 more raider camps. It is always the same. Also, they do have a maximum size. In the beginning I thought a planetary base will just continue to grow and eventually cover the whole planet, but that is not the case, thankfully. In regards to the planetary bases, you forgot to even mention the loot. The loot JD the loot!

About the Plasma Sentries. You say they kill us in 2 shots even with a number of upgrades. This is very much incorrect. At the start, yes. But as soon as you have the general shield upgrade, these become easier to deal with. Ontop of that, you can modify your armor giving you more plating for health/damage reduction.

Probably called ground units as in "planetary units" as opposed to space units

It is exactly so as the classification is the same with your own drones as well. There are ground units that help you on the planet, and spaceships that can help you in space.

I suggest next time stick to a script. There are some useful info. In the videos, also a lot of mumbling and mistake. Can't count how many time you mistake base/relay station/hive, it is very confusing sometime you were talking about base then you call it hive the next sec.

The Battlefield Analysis Base is good for picking up loot on the ground if that's what you mean?

@@PI_Joe_Mama ​ The base itself is a giant chest basically and you can just sort out the things you want and leave the stuff you don't want. I just grab stuff from it once in a while to clean it up. You can theoretically put in a storage box then have your logistics bots do all the work too. Set the things to "At least 100, At most 100" by dragging the little arrows on the logistic distributor on your depots (storage boxes) Otherwise, it's just manual labor done with a building. It's great so you don't have to be a "sucker" every time a enemy wave comes :D

What if you don't fill in the hole after you destroy the base but leave the relay alone? Will the base rebuild eventually? Edit: I now know from firsthand experience that if you leave the hole unplugged and relay station alone, after a minute or so, the relay station will rebuild the core driller.

You can out range the laser turrets by peaking over the horizon and using rockets.

Plasma sentries VERY VERY DANGEROUS!!! and u can simply dodge 70-100% of the shots with a well timed jump. And it gets predictable since they fire on a set interval.

One thing I think would be REALLY freaking fun is to make several huge rings of missile turrets at the polar opposite end of a planet with several dark fog bases on one hemisphere. Then level them all up to max, goad them all into the prime attack position for for the most missile turrets, and watch the cacophony unfold. It would probably be glorious to watch the atmosphere be FILLED with a missile hurricane as they utterly pulverize the dark fog’s forces. Like the Factorio Rocket Ballet video.
