I don't get how many Factorio content creators make power generating on Aquilo such a big overcomplicated fuss; I simply used old plain boilers and steam engines with solid fuel created by the endless supply of oil, that's it, is that easy.

Boilers would work, but the heating tower has that 250% bonus which means a LOT of free power for just using a different building for the heat generation

Hi JD, great videos! 1 Question. How to i change the input/output of the recyclers? Also when I started Space Age my rocket thrusters inputs and outputs are all aligned? Most Blueprints have them staggered.

The recyclers alway output out the 'front' if thats not in the right spot rotate them with R As for thrusters it must be a mod you have installed

Yes and No, Storage chest can have things come back into it, if its forced out of another location, provider can only have things leave the chest. Honestly I want things going out mostly and not returning back to the chest.

If you tear up a refinery line and they go back into the mall where they were made, that will not only be neater, but you won't end up over-production because the output chest will always have over the minimum until they are actually used.

@@KeithOlson To counter that, why is your mall not checking the total of the logistics network? There are pros and cons to every solution I don't mind over production and things in 'storage' as thats just pre-produced for the next expansion/upgrade The Factory must GROW!

Nope, that only works with space and lava sadly. Theres a mod that lets you do it in any ocean

Your new power plant's heat pipes are connected to your heating grid on the east. Also, I suggest turning down the game music a bit. It's a bit much sometimes when you're narrating.

His power usage is too Thigh. He needs to Shoulder the responsibility and Head in a different direction to better Arm his heating needs. Once he gets the other Foot forward and a Face the issue, Aquilo will be under Thumb.

Connecting the power to the heating grid in the east is fine i expect as the heat needs to run past all the boilers first before it can get out to the grid, also due to how heat spreads it doesn't make it past the end of the grid as 70 tiles of heat pipe is a long way for heat to travel

Solid fuel from ammonia and then use them in heating towers then melt the ice for water and use them to fuel the turbines I only have nuclear now as a backup
