Demo and then small live is good Issue with going straight to small live account is people lose interest in the process &go all in on short term money which kills focus Seen it many times before! Id say now; just Backtest a lot, when you’re profitable on a small live account, invest some into a prop firm. But only when you prove to yourself you can succeed with it

So is the separation between starting out making 200$ a day funded and people making 30-40-60k a month, with a similar account balance, only skill and experience or is it because you can risk more on a personal account than with a funded one through a prop firm? 200$ is nice, but doesn’t build much wealth compared to a regular 9to5 salary. Imbalances are not always filled immediately. Markets are probability focused. There may be 10 setups forming every week but only 2 of them actually come through, one wins & one loses, and the risk reward does the rest Simple math. But you can’t look at a market and expect everything to flow perfectly, there’s too much behind the market flow that causes different moves to take place. Build your systems & just play the math game

Negative risk reward, you need to weigh your trades so your winners bring back 2x or more your losing trades. It’s the easiest way to win long term even while losing half the trades you take
