He might be more aggressive, dominant, and vocal than she is, but she pulls the emotional strings. She invalidated his feelings several times by dismissing how he feels and what he worries about. Yet, she puts on tears about him becoming famous. She knows fame would take him out from under her control. But he doesn't seem satisfied with her answer about her dating women while they are "off" (which seems fine to me, unless they have ground rules about not dating other people when they're "off").
