This is still one of the best rivalries every... both were actual badasses in real life.. I always wanted Van Damme to play Wolverine, and Dolph to play Sabertooth as a kid before they casted Hugh Jackman... I think Van Dammes hieght, his quiet "man of a few words" persona, he's french (Wolvie is Canadian), and he was always great at screaming, and being insanely angry. Also give him that hair style, and mutton chops it's over. Then Dolph is towering blonde over him... it would've been perfect. Especially with 80's/90's film aesthetics. What a shame it never happened. Patrick Swayze as Cyclops. COME ON!

I would of been down for this, and its crazy because at one point in time in the 90s Van Damme was considered for the role of Wolverine and Captain America for a 90s version of the Avengers. All steven segal movies are all the same shit. The pony tail man comes to town and beat up a few bad guys and tell them to fuck off, and then the bad guys go to their boss who gets pissed and want revenge but get his ass kicked aswell and that's the story of every steven segal movie. And van damme is just a bad actor and a midget who made a few silly movies that are not worth mentioning. As a matter of fact, i can't even name one movie he was in, so that says enough of how "great" he was. And dolf lungren, well he had a few roles here and there, and i can't remember a single movie where he has the leading role, so he's just another hasbin.
