Pyrotechnics is such a beautiful song , and right at the end it always makes me paint a picture that i am in some kind of a spaceship and im watching the earth and the sun explode until its nothing but dust

Honestly the most promising release from an up-and-comer this year. Pyrotechnics might be your least favorite track, but it feels like the bridge from his previous release Bad Sports and the songs he's relased this year. Bad Sports has a more subtle new wave/alt rnb vibe compared to the in-your-face indie pop aesthetic of this but both are amazing and distinctly Jean Dawson.

Light 7? Bruh, i expected decent 8 on this one. I don't now, whats wrong for you with 06 Burst. Its one of my favourite tracks on this album. agreed, i personally rated it a 11/13 (based on how much I enjoyed each of the 13 tracks) which evens out to about 8.46 which would be about a decent 8. I'm mostly surprised that he didn't enjoy 06 Burst and Bruiseboy as much as I did, and that he didn't talk much about the topical themes of the songs which I thought were pretty thought provoking

I get not liking the idea in the closer, but I got an awful lot out of it. The clashing vocals feel very intentional. Shiner took me a couple of listens to get, but I'm really enjoying this album end to end. Seems to get stronger the more I listen - I thought I'd already listened to Power Freaks enough times that I'd be sick of it on the actual album, but... nah. Still great. Hope folks give Dawson their ears for a bit.
