Yeah he stole those lyrics about John Cena, that whole “slick with the messages, remember who you’re messing with” section is DEFINITELY lifted from someone else….. I’m sure most or of these lyrics are stolen or ghostwritten. 4:52

I used to watch these videos to try and understand music more on a conceptual level when I first started to delve more into different genres about 7 years ago. Since then, I have watched more and more newer videos from this channel, and it has become such a self-fulfilling cyclical explanation of " I listen to artists on a different spectrum than you and you can never understand and can't enjoy the simple love for music and emotion unless you have the understanding of these off shot artists". Even just looking back when he reviewed Mac Miller's Swimming album and didn't actually listen to what he was trying to say or convey in the album and then all of a sudden when Mac died, he is then crying over the song Good News and seeming prophetic in understanding what he was saying even though he was saying and describing that in Swimming. It's no wonder why he has completely become a meme in the music industry and on social media platforms. How he reacts to music now is this miasma of "reviews" to make his channel continue. You now can't even understand now how artists like Noah Kahan are writing for the populace that feel the way he does or how they have felt through the similar details that he sings about. You've become numbed to music by over analyzing every artist you listen too. Can you get back to understanding why people love music and how it makes them feel. Maybe understanding it from that perspective like you once did, will allow you to not criticize everything on a "music sommelier" prejudice. I loved the content but return to enjoying and feeling music.

I think people are so emotionally connected to Justice (including myself) that Fantano's review cuts a little deep. But realistically it doesn't come close to hitting the heights of Cross, even if there are some fantastic hooks and they're almost back to their best. Some of his takes are pretty on point: Neverender is a much better song than One Night/All Night, a lot of the glitchy syncopated pops that made Cross what it was aren't quite there to the same extent on the new record. There's nothing that really matches D.A.N.C.E or has that satisfying pay off when the beat finally drops in Tthhee Ppaarrttyy. The vocal contributions throughout are variable and there's nothing like the distinctive sounds of boys' choir or the character of Uffie on those two respective tracks. That being said his take on Mannequin Love is mystifying,+ - the hook and the rolling groove together create an absolute earworm.

I'll be honest, if I agree with Anthony on anything related to AJR, it's that I'm Ready is genuinely overrated and I don't see how people like the entirety of Living Room in general.

Ain’t if funny that one of Taylor’s main producers and friends is named “Jack Anton Off” when there’s a joke/conspiracy theory that she’s a clone of Anton Laveys daughter? Like… “jack Anton off”. If his wife had just “jacked Anton off” Anton laveys daughter wouldn’t exist, and if Taylor was a clone of her… she wouldn’t exist… Whatever I know none of that shit is true, but it does seem like God likes to play word games with conspiracy theorists lol

I actually love this album. I’ve been listening to it a lot recently and I think there is a lot to this record. I also could listen to Vancouver 3 for hours. I don’t why he stabbed at that one so hard. What the arpeggios DO is very pleasing to please.

“Daddy Lessons” isn’t a tribute to her dad lol, it’s about Beyoncé pointing out the irony of her dad warning her to stay away from unfaithful men (in this case, Jay-Z), despite him cheating on her mom a few years prior.
