Jean was also powerful in X Men Evolution the cartoon . Jean in X Men Evolution her power grew stronger & she beat up Mystique hard for what she did to Cyclops . Loved seen Wanda in X Men Evolution .

And Jean was an absolute powerhouse! I think the best version of Scott and Jean as individual characters as well as their relationship was portrayed the best in Evolution. But we had a lot of time over four seasons to see their character development. I hope we get at least four (good quality and well written) seasons of XM97 to see how Jean grows here as well!

With her telepathy, she can communicate with her mind beyond the range of the planet, whereas Xavier needs Cerebro to amplify his powers enough to target people on the planet. Her telekinesis is indeed Alpha level. Alpha level is the most powerful regular mutant class (Omega level mutants are incredibly rare and particular exceptions that transcend the mutant power scale). The telekinesis is still exceptionally powerful though. She is to telekinesis what Xavier is to telepathy (Xavier is an Alpha level telepath).

I think the comics imply that she’s both omega level telepath and telekinetic. There was a comic issue where rogue touched her to borrow some of her powers and she said something like “two omega lvl telekinetic are better than one”? But that’s just rogue talking and idk

I only just realized this by watching this video, but there's a callback to the flashback where Xavier meets Jean. Jean says "They say I think too much" and Charles answers with "All I do is think too." But later on, when Jean re-emerges as Phoenix, she tells Sinestro "All I do is think" as well. I might just be reaching but I just wanted to point that out

Hence why the X-Men are revered in their mutantdom... most mutants have useless abilities and just have deformities, making it even more sense why Genosha was so easily decimated by a Prime Sentinel

I felt bad for Jean… her husband fathered a child with the wrong woman, and now Nathan’s existence is a permanent reminder of that. In fact, we don’t even know if Cyclops really is her husband because we don’t know when she got switched. That’s a bad hand to get dealt.

So glad this version of Jean finally starts getting her due. They did better with her in later adaptations like X-Men: Evolution, but the OG show is always going to be the one people remember the most, so it was unfortunate that Jean's portrayal was one of its few big blunders. Hope she continues to be awesome in the new seasons.

Girl that was her going through her and Madelyne’s memories😭😭, Jean grey doesn’t have any time powers, she only has telekinesis and telepathy and all abilities that you see her perform are derived from those two. She only has extra abilities over reality when she’s possessed/imbued with the Phoenix force
