@@MOONPOPPERS it's a miniseries so if you had really like a weekend or so you could probably knock it out. I watched the original series when I was 5 6 years old so I'm bias but still you also get to see Rogue as the beastly southern belle she is.

Logan an Rogues relationship was a thing back in the 90s and early 2000s...a big Brother type that looks out for his little Sister. These days everything seems weird maybe because of Me Too but there was a sense of innocence from the past that we don't have anymore that's why it looks weird to you Guys.
@MOONPOPPERSАй бұрын
yes but we understand their relationship now !

"Logan, my tolerance for you smoking in the mansion notwithstanding. Continue smoking that in here and you'll spend the rest of your life under the belief that you're a six-year-old girl." "You'd do that." "I'd have Jean braid your hair." He WOULD do it, I have no doubt.

And Scott's beam is like a physical beam made from solar energy hitting with potential to crack basically anything. That can bust through anything it's solar energy but it isn't heat like a energy hammer and it never stops coming from his eyes without the goggles head and accident mass shooter always.

Hey, Nico and KP! The X-Men are Marvel Comics superheroes created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1963. The film rights were sold to 20th-Century Fox studios in the 1990s. Therefore, no other Marvel characters could appear in them when the MCU came into existence later and nothing mutant-related could exist in the MCU. The X-Men movies proved team superhero movies were viable and are the reason we have an MCU and DCEU. One major problem with the franchise is that there was no plan going in to make a coherent saga so there are MANY CONTINUITY ERRORS! Another problem is that there is little FIDELITY to the comics other than surface level stuff and the franchise became a showcase for HUGH JACKMAN's Wolverine as the central focus; the comics are much more ensemble pieces. Wolverine is hugely popular among comic readers but the movies became largely his vehicle. When the franchise was rebooted with a younger cast to clear up continuity and fidelity issues, the only explanation for discrepancies between the two sets of films was that they were taking place in MULTIPLE TIMELINES. Despite the confusion, X-Men films are all very ENTERTAINING including the duds and boast terrific action and INCREDIBLE CASTS. The duality between frenemies Charles and Erik is the core of these films. They are allegorical representatives of Martin Luther King, Jr. and Malcolm X. The action sequences are predicated on coordinating and nullifying powers which laid the foundation for the best superhero fight ever in cinema as it utilizes the same principles: the airport battle in "Captain America: Civil War"! The student who phased through the door when Wolverine first meets Xavier in "X-Men" is Katherine "Kitty" Pryde and Rogue's role as Logan's mentee in the films was actually Kitty's role in the comics. Rogue is a flight-capable, heavy-hitting adult in the comics who acquired those abilities when she permanently absorbed Carol "Captain Marvel" Danvers' powers by maintaining contact too long! That incident stripped Carol of her memories and put her in a coma! Mutants are born with latent powers that usually manifest at puberty. They are a different species of humanity called HOMO SUPERIOR. Other superheroes acquired their powers in accidents and experiments. Bryan Singer was clearly building up to one of comicdom's great sagas with that winged shadow glimpsed in the lake! Unfortunately, it isn't executed properly even though Fox tried adapting it twice! Nonetheless, "X2" remains a high-water mark in the franchise. It is based on the graphic novel "God Loves, Man Kills". In the comics, Kurt Wagner aka Nightcrawler is the son of Raven Darkholme aka Mystique. Alan Cumming was superlative in the role! Brian Cox makes a meal of his role as William Stryker although he is reframed as a military scientist instead of the evil Reverend he is in the comics! Kelly Hu plays Yuriko Oyama aka Lady Deathstrike as a mutant cut from the same cloth as Wolverine since healing factor is the only way to survive the adamantium-bonding process but in the comics she is a cyborg with self-repairing nanites and adamantium fingers! Aaron Stanford is introduced as John Allerdyce aka Pyro, a long-time member of Magneto's Brotherhood. Comic fans were just waiting for him to jump ship but McKellen's recruitment was written masterfully. Piotr Rasputin aka Colossus is introduced in this film as the tall, muscular teen with the steel skin played by Daniel Cudmore even though he speaks in unaccented English. Phase-shifter Katherine "Kitty" Pryde aka Shadowcat gets more of a showcase phasing through walls and goons but is still played by an unknown actress. The ear-splitting shrieker is known as Siryn. The young boy watching TV was causing the channels to change which is an ability termed technopathy. Rebecca Romijn as Raven Darkholme aka Mystique cements her popularity by getting some of the best bits in this movie including that flip of the finger but also gets to play the role without makeup while seducing Laurio. James Marsden's fit of grief over Jean's death hits me in the gut every time! It's a palpable loss. Xavier DOES NOT have the power to stop time! He has the power to CONTROL MINDS! He is suspending everyone's motor functions and placing everyone's conscious mind into stasis. Time is proceeding normally as shown by the television report in the museum. If you like Anna Paquin's Rogue, please be sure to see THE ROGUE CUT of "Days of Future Past" when you get to it otherwise she won't appear in that movie! Now that Disney owns the film rights, fans are excited to see Kevin Feige adapt them properly. As always, since these are films based on Marvel Comics, STAN LEE has a cameo in most of them. In "X-Men", he was a hot dog vendor on the beach when Senator Kelly emerges from the surf. You spotted him! He doesn't have a cameo in "X2". X-MEN TIMELINES: Egypt --> 1845 --> Nagasaki --> First Class --> DOFP --> Origins ------------------------------------------------> X1 --> X2 --> X3 --> Wolverine ----------> New Mutants -----------> DOFP Utopia Egypt --> 1845 --> Nagasaki --> First Class --> DOFP ----------------> Apocalypse --> Dark Phoenix ------------------------------------------------> Deadpool --> Deadpool 2 ---------------> Logan Egypt --> 1845 --> Nagasaki --> First Class --> DOFP --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------> DOFP Dystopia DO NOT watch the films in release order! Follow this RECOMMENDED ORDER! It keeps the multiple timelines orderly and ends the series with two strong films rather than with two less well-received entries. RECOMMENDED VIEWING ORDER: X-Men X2: X-Men United X3: The Last Stand X-Men Origins: Wolverine X-Men: First Class The Wolverine: EXTENDED CUT X-Men: Days of Future Past: THE ROGUE CUT X-Men: Apocalypse X-Men: Dark Phoenix Deadpool New Mutants Logan Deadpool 2 Deadpool & Wolverine
