What a gift to us all to learn about this fascinating period and moment (the pansy craze), not to mention the short and yet impressive life and accomplishments of Jean Malin! Thank you for offering this to us all.

They really gotta teach true history to the children in school. History is one of the most important subjects, and Representation matters. Trans kids need to hear about trans heros...and actually other kids do too. If we aren't leaving anyone out, we won't have bullying happening because everyone will be represented and understood. It would sure make a difference at our sons school thats for sure.

Wow interesting story, In high school in the 70s I read a lot of history about the 20s as my Gramma was a flapper, and some of the books I read made the 20s sound like a time of cultural revolution in cities, but no books in a small town library shared much about the LGBTQ+ community, even their very existence, as if it only happened in Berlin lol.

Why did they let Peppermint keep calling his nightclub "Club Alley" when the name of the club as we can see from the photos was "Club Abbey"?????
