El prelúdio era una forma de llamar atención de la audiencia y para acalentar los músculos del músico solista. Era una costumbre muy usual en los siglos 16, 17, 18 y 19 también.

I loved the preludio befor the Tellemann concert presented by this group, with mr. Egaña and mrs. Fohgrub! 🥰I think that the preludio is a way to put the listener into the vibe of the concert.
