Absolutely! The more time goes by the more I realise just how few of us there are. Sad, really...especially when people complain about being lonely yet they won't go through the decades of bad days to get to those final good days. It's all worth it!

Same here!! Jean was really good on DW. But even better on the 6/7 episodes of Frazier. Which she won two Emmys for. But Hacks is in a different league - Jean's best performance of all time. Both seasons on HBO Max right now. She won an Emmy last year and this year for that performance.

Years ago I watched *Mistress* and was blown away by a scene of Jean's. I was a musician, and worked in an art gallery, but was rather ignorant about acting. I loved this (adore both of them forever and ever), but wished they had both talked about the differences in playing both comedy and drama, since both Jean and Martin have done so to huge acclaim. Martin won Emmy nominations and winds for largely dramatic roles ("Merlin" and "Damages") and of course Jean is continuing to conquer the world with both, after "Mare" and "Hacks." I wish we could have seen more talk about that. But a lovely talk, and worth watching (Martin's autobiography is also really terrific).
