Quite lovely. I did this last year over my dining room window and it was spectacular. But, I hot glued all the tops on the ornaments after learning the lesson as several of them fell when I was added more down the line.

Yeah I could see great at 42. So good that I thought it was cute that my 48 year old husband needed my help reading small print. Then one night after I turned 43 I went to sleep and I woke up and I could no longer read the small print it just suddenly happened thank you for the in depth instructions for those of us that can't see the small wire to thread the ornaments. Lol

We do this every year but we use chicken wire and stables in place and use paper clips open like s shape and fill it till you can’t see the wire, it beautiful and not has expensive and don’t forget the lights 🇬🇧🇬🇧

I can’t believe I just found this video! Too late for this year but I need more anyway, especially the big ones. I’ll be doing mine in red & white & more of a candy cane type theme or a flower theme depending on the way I decorate the tree. Sometimes I do red/white candy cane & sometimes I decorate it in red/white roses/poinsettias. So I’ll do the garland to match. I think I might even add some acrylic icicles. Then I’ll leave the balls attached & just switch out the accessories- flowers or candy cane picks from year to year so that it doesn’t always look the same. I’m going to need a REALLY big bin to store this one…😂🤣😂🤣

I’ve also decided instead of the fish hooks you use to secure the garland, I’m going to use a double hook that you’d normally use to hang coats. I’m painting them the same color as the walls so they blend in & attach them - one in each corner & one in the middle. Since I’m using a double hook, I can attach the wire in a figure 8 to secure it to the hook. The hooks can stay up year round & I can change out the garland for the season & it will look cute not quite as full for Easter with eggs, in Spring I can put flowers on if I want or Red/White/Blue balls if I’m having a Memorial Day/4th of July picnic, Fall will be fun with leaves & mini or maybe not so mini pumpkins…This idea is going to be SO fun!! I think I need to order some plain garland now…😳😳

Mini version!!! Same technique…. Smaller ornaments ❤️ Just make sure you have a few different sizes even if the bulk are smaller.

You will not find large ornaments less than that you need to remember when you’re buying ornaments of that size you are basically paying for air and the transport for those ornaments is very expensive💁🏻‍♀️

You can call them what you want and I will call them what I want. I have never actually called an ornament a bauble. That’s not what it’s called in the US. But, I respect what you call them so I’d appreciate if you could hold the same respect as this was work. I believe a fragile glass ornament is more a “bauble” than a oversized shatterproof ornament. The word “ball” is used because the was they are placed they look like balls. #gladwegotthathandled
