law school student here. if a major property, like a $1.5 million dollar home is in a divorce or death, and someone wants to keep it, they can buy out other parties. that's the settlement, especially if there is already an understanding that no other money is going to be exchanged. That's what happened here. I do believe, as per the privacy laws, not all court documents need to be public, even for public people like celebrities. However, celebrities that breach privacy can't then turn around and accuse someone else of breaching privacy when they come out on TV and breach it. Courts have held that since party A breached privacy, party B can't be held liable for breaching privacy. MEANING, home girl saying "you lying" "imma let you finish, but be warned, imma tell it if you keep going" was nothing more than her saying, you're breaching privacy, thought we agreed to keep this private.
