Jeannine, where do you buy your patterns? What fabric do you use? I find the 14 ct Aida is so stiff and hard to work with. Isn't there a softer fabric I could use similar to 14 ct?? Thank you, I' still following your online classes, Thank you for creating these videos.

I buy my patterns/kits at Wal-Mart but I have also seen them at Hobby Lobby and online. I usually use the fabric that the pattern advises but if you find it too stiff you can always launder your fabric before you begin stitching. This will help wash the sizing in the fabric away and make it softer. I advise running a ziz-zag stitch on your sewing machine around the border of the fabric first to keep it from fraying when you hand wash it. You can also put a small amount of liquid fabric softener in your wash to help soften the fabric. I like my fabric nice and stiff when I am stitching. I find that the needle goes through easier when the fabric is stiff. Hope this helps! Happy stitching!!

Thank you Jeannie, I will try washing one I already have one to wash to see if it is more pliable. I thank you for your videos, being disabled it is difficult to go out to attend classes and I hate to keep asking for favors since my neighbor takes me shopping when needed. Thank you for your assistance and attention. Ann Marie.
