Listen, writing Thank You notes is a lost art, and I’m grateful to my Mom for making me do it. Also, my dad made sure that I always read the cards before I opened any gifts, Christmas, Birthday, Great Pumpkin, all of them. It comes in handy later in life.

My grands were taught (by me) to write thank you notes. It is a chore but it’s a chore to go buy all those gifts so we need to show appreciation to those who made the effort to show us they care. It’s a lost art anymore.

Makes me miss staying at my grandparents small house. All the cousins slept on the floor of the living room. My grandma would get up at 5am and start rummaging in the freezer for the banana bread 5 feet from our heads. I’m a native Kansan so your videos make me feel at home. Living in Florida now and it’s hard to get on Christmas spirit when it’s 75 degrees.
