Have to show off what I remember from high school Spanish: “El Espanol al Dia. Book one, fourth edition by Laurel Herbert Turk and Edith Marian Allen. Copyright 1973 by DC Heath and Company. All rights reserved.” This was the intro on every record (!) we used for conversation practice. I do read a fair bit of Spanish because I see it a lot in the city where I live.

Had a great history teacher learned all about following Led Zeppelin when he went to Europe. He loved macaroons and when we found out his birthday our class brought him tons (ok I skipped school to go the bakery before that class lol- and pick up balloons, other kids brought Chinese food…. We had the best wood working teacher. Everyone knew he drank and he'd give us money to go get him mix and pay for corn dogs for all of us. And before people are judgemental, we were young, his wife had recently died, and he did stop doing that. And besides that he was one of the best teachers I've ever had. So laid back and treated all the kids so good.
